I hope the light bar can be turned off, I can see it being very distracting when your battery runs low and that keeps blinking. Other than that though this controller looks miles better than the DS3.

When I saw the prototype controller I was majorly turned off by the light bar, but after they showed what the final product is going to look like I am beyond happy, it looks like a great controller and I can't wait to get my hands on it!

The size is really the only thing that turns me off of it tbh, I love the size of the DS1/2/3.

Very nice read. Finally some comparison shots. hadnt seen any until now. I never really had any complaints about the original dualshock design, and its gonna take some getting used to this new design, but so far i like what i see.

But if your battery runs low you should probably recharge it instead of ignoring the blinking light. That's probably the point of the blinking.

Have they said that it blinks when the battery is low? I hope not. It should be dimming.

Ehh... this kind of has me worried. I love the size of the DS. Looks like they made this thing about the size of the $#@!ing 360 controller. I guess I'll reserve judgement until i get to use it but that comparison has me worried. The shape looks overall the same but that is a big size change.

well they fixed the sticks from peeling but they should have had a metal base like the vita to avoid this

wear and tear from socom (heavy use of left stick)

now this hopefully will not happen to the ds4

Besides the fact that the DS4 has better features such as the touchpad, it looks much more comfortable to play with and one of the best features for me is that I will be able to charge it even if my PS4 is on sleep mode.

I have this same problem with all of my DS3's. I also have a button sticking problem on one of my DS3's and nothing has ever been spilled on it. The X button just sticks right in and is hard to get back out..
