PS4 DS4 vs XBox One Controller Size Comparison

    uP4KpSg.jpg

It looks like size is going to be another thing that they worked on with the DS4. I personally didn't have problems with the size of the DS3 but I know a lot of people that did. Does look like Sony listened to a lot of people about what they would like to see in the controller while still keep the same over all aesthetics. Definitely a good thing IMHO. I can't wait to personally hold one of them and try it out.

Thats what I like about it.

Nevermind. I misread the title. Not a dupe thread.

It does look heavier and it probably is. The biggest thing about it is that it does look more durable. I know plenty of people that cracked a DS3 just by dropping it from sitting position about 2 and 1/2 feet high. I personally have 2 DS3 that are missing triggers from the casing splitting and it coming apart.

No, youre right and I'm wrong. Your thread compares to Xbox One pad and mine compares to DS3. My bad.

Since it may be more durable, I guess having a heavier and bigger controller isn't a bad thing.

I'm a little concerned over the bott grips of the Xbox One. But form factor it is the same as the Xbox 360. I liked the 360 controller but of course I've preferred the Dualshock form more.

No definitely not a bad thing. I could agree a lot with some other people who said they felt they could break the DS3 when holding it

I'm going to say yes, but its really difficult to say without them being side by side. Seeing the DS4 and the new XB1 controller side by side is nice, but we really don't even know how big either or them are unless you saw/held them in person. Need to see both the new next to both the old controllers.
PCs are very much like Air Conditioners.
They both become utterly useless once you start to open up Windows....

Im one of those rare people who like both controllers. The only time the ps3 controller pissed me off was when i had to play my copyif gow and had to keep hitting r2 to open doors.bleagh.
xbox controller looks really old. Like the 1st xbox, 1st saturn controller and my old pc controller lol. Im sure it works great, and i loved those old comtrollers, but just looks old to me. PS4 looks fresh

The Xbox One controller seems to resemble the Xbox 1 controller more than the 360 controller.

Although I found the X360 controller comfortable to play with, I never liked the design, and I don't like this one either, too big.

I prefer the xbox controller. I'm glad Sony has finally changed the controller. It's been the same design since the ps1.

Wow. That's different from last gen. The Playstation controller actually looks bigger this time.

In my honest opinion they've both stepped backwards from their predecessors.

I would say that's a hasty conclusion to make without trying them first.
"The biggest adversary in our life is ourselves. We are what we are, in a sense, because of the dominating thoughts we allow to gather in our head. All concepts of self-improvement, all actions and paths we take, relate solely to our abstract image of ourselves. Life is limited only by how we really see ourselves and feel about our being. A great deal of pure self-knowledge and inner understanding allows us to lay an all-important foundation for the structure of our life from which we can perceive and take the right avenues.

Where I think the designs aren't very atheistically appealing to me, I bet they are both going to be awesome at their actual functions. Both look really sturdy and durable.

They look built will, I'm mostly just worked about the change of the size for the DS. I've been gaming on that controller since 97 and haven't had a complaint with it. I'm just hoping the transition will be easy. I like the changes they made but I'm worried the size is going to take a lot of getting used to.

Yeah let's just hope that it's an easy transition in that department
