Time to Triangle means the amount of time to get a game engine to work properly on the console.
So yeah it sometimes took a year to get a engine to work on the PS3 and now its down to 2 months max with the PS4 like it was on the PS1. That is why i said Holy $#@!.

It means quicker to get the engine working on the console so they can get to actually developing the game quicker but they still have to develop the game.

This is a good watch. It's good to know that a company can learn some type of humility in certain aspects of what they were doing. 3rd party importance was definitely needed in PS3 and seeing that they are being more open to that in PS4 can only mean good things for them.

Ah ok! Sweet man, good to know. This is definitely good news! I can't wait to play some new games, I am spoiled by PC lately so I'm pretty sure PS4 will get back me on playing consoles

My respect for Cerny just skyrocketed, and that's saying a lot.. (him previously being the guy who got PlayStation straightened out)!

Even though I'm not a huge fan of the way he talks, I have so much respect for him.

So happy that Sony has someone competent planning its console. PS4 is going to have one hell of a generation thanks to the ground work laid by Cerny.

Once again he says that the ps4 is not off the shelve parts thrown together like some members in here will like to believe...also goes into detail why they didn't go with ms setup of having another embedded ram and why unified pool of ram is the way to go (which developers asked for, not something exotic)...also saying the esram/edram way was a way to cut cost? So ms did that to cut cost to be able to add Kinect in every box....and the triangle cycles should be interesting to see how that pans out with dev times

The one of the new things I spotted in this talk is that, when he went to check out the development of the ps3 in 2004, the engineering team was basically 6 guys in a room... That was it!
Maths is biased! It keeps telling me the PS4 is 50% more powerful than XboxOne!
Great song, should have more views :'(

Yep, I'm excited to see what lies ahead for the PS4.
