I do like the Dark Souls cover, but I love Elder Scrolls covers and how they are worn down books. Just looks great, so simple and works well

I love the Dark Souls cover, but I have to agree with DarkVincent07 on this one.
PCs are very much like Air Conditioners.
They both become utterly useless once you start to open up Windows....

Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, because the cover speaks more volumes than the other cover

It means more to me than any other cover i have seen... Because i can speak more about that cover than any other

The fact it is connected to OBLIVION, just be the dragon symbol on the front and the Skyrim name brings up the past history of the land and what it means via it's connection to the empire

And the great war, opposing hatred off the empire and honor and strength

I'm not particularly fond of the cover of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I understand the reasoning behind the design, but I find minimalist approaches to box art very dull. I need to have a more impactful cover and things like this just looks bland to me. In contrast, I'm quite fond of the cover of Dark Souls II:the use of colour (or lack of) and feeling of despair is very effective to me. While I acknowledge that it's far from being great and I understand the problems with it being generic, in this instance, I prefer it as it's much less boring than that of its competitor.

I love Skyrim, but the box art always looked dull to me.

    Went for Dark Souls.

The Dark Souls II cover has atmosphere and so it wins my vote, although I appreciate your points Claud3.

Dark Souls 2. If you see the TES-cover in real live, you don't really notice it's a book.

Dark Souls 2 had to be one of the coolest covers ever!
