PS4′s digital library lets you play your games anywhere & on anyone’s console

    http://www.officialplaystationmagazi...yones-console/

Looks like PS4 is implementing this feature as well. Combined with the play as you download feature and this is pretty F'in sweet! And apparently they are doing it without the DRM stuff.

Sony has spoken about accessing your PS4 games on any machine, and how PlayStation 4′s ability to ‘play as you download’ makes, “a digital [game] library a practical option in the real world”.
PS4′s digital library lets you play games anywhere

Speaking at Develop, Neil Brown, Sony’s R&D senior team leader, outlined the process that lets you access your games on other machines at other people’s houses:
“You can visit your friends house you can log into your account and play any game from your digital library, which is good. But how useful is that if it takes half a day to download the game you want to play? With Play As You Download you get much quicker access to at least the first section of the game so you can start playing quicker. So this makes a digital library a practical option in the real world.”
This will be very handy. And I guess MS will have to support something similar (again) without DRM.

Then you'll have to wait longer until at least a certain part of the game's downloaded so you can start playing.

I really would love to see the "download little to start the game" function of PS4. Hope it will be easy as the way it sounds.

I think it pretty much works like WoW's system.

PS3 only allowed you to activate your account on a limited number of PS3s. Sounds like that won't be the case anymore.

They will have to put some limit on it surely or let devs put limits on it like somebody said they had to limit it on ps3 so don't see any different on this gen. I think they will limit being able to play the game on 2 consoles at the same time which would be great for sports games where you could play your friend but still not effect your online rating

You can play the game as it's downloading... although Blizzard's way of doing it still sucks immensely. The game reacts like garbage until a fairly considerable amount of the game has been downloaded. I think Sony's way will be better.
"The biggest adversary in our life is ourselves. We are what we are, in a sense, because of the dominating thoughts we allow to gather in our head. All concepts of self-improvement, all actions and paths we take, relate solely to our abstract image of ourselves. Life is limited only by how we really see ourselves and feel about our being. A great deal of pure self-knowledge and inner understanding allows us to lay an all-important foundation for the structure of our life from which we can perceive and take the right avenues.”

I was thinking about that too. I really hope there wont be a limit with PS4.

From what I understand Xbox One does this as well. Xbox 360 does it with your digital library without the play as you download feature.

Correct, this is something that Xbox One still has as well as the PS3 and PS4. PS3 however has a cap of two systems though.

Yeah I think the biggest thing is the play as you download feature. Hate to try and play 26.8 gig download at a friend's house a day later lol
