I'm not really sure which games i will get at launch to be honest, but money isn't really an issue, but i see no reason to buy more then 1 MP focused FPS, since destiny isn't a launch title i will get either KZ, BF or CoD for MP.

Since i'm not a big fan of open world games that aren't RPG's, i might skip all the ubisoft titles (AC, division, watch dogs), unless they end up being gods gift to gamers.

I'm looking forward to The Witcher 3, Diablo 3, Destiny and InFamous though.

Right off the bat I'll probably just get the PS4, 2-3 games, and PS+

I'll get another controller sometime down the road.

You can't put a cash limit on gaming. Especially for a console launch. Go all out or go home!

I'll get the PS4 and probably 2-3 games. Then a second controller soon after.

ive been putting 15 bucks a week in a savings account since late february for this. i don't make much money a week because of meds and bills (diabetic), but i plan on splurging big time for this $#@!er. i did the math i should have 600 and some change to waste on this come when its all said and done. plus im in a bowling tournament this august and whatever i win goes straight into that account. ive worked my ass off for this so im going to spend it...its my xmas gift for this year!

I plan to spend less money buying games this generation. I have so many uncompleted games in my library, finding after the purchase that I either don't like the game very much or simply don't have the desire to invest a large sum of time into it. I'll save myself a lot of money by only buying one or two particularly enticing games, and renting the rest.

Right now (If I'm lucky enough to buy a system) I'll be getting...

    1) PS4 - $400
    2) Drive Club - $60

    I'm set.

I have too many games myself and a lot not finished. Just over 300 titles.... not including my Steam games. Gonna get PS4 at least a year after launch. The launch games will be cheaper.

No limit. Only I won't buy games unseen at full price and I won't buy them at an extra premium, ie EA's 80 dollars per game.

Current plans (though things could change):

    PlayStation 4 - $400
    extra DualShock - $60
    Killzone: Shadow Fall - $60
    Watch Dogs - $60

At the low end of affordability, I might scrub Watch Dogs. At the high end, I might add the PlayStation Camera.

But I'll be spending more money before Christmas, on inFamous: Second Son, PSN titles, etc. Fingers crossed that I'm reviewing some of this stuff.

I wasn't very specific in my early post, but here is what I've decided:

    PlayStation 4 - $400
    Battlefield 4 - $60
    The Witcher 3 - $60

I do intend to get a second controller at some point, but I don't believe this is must-buy necessity in the first couple of months after the console releases.

I would love to say no limit but I am sure the wife (BoM - For those familiar) would say otherwise. In the end I will probably just grab the console and a copy of Watch Dogs.

    8 years and counting!

You won't have to worry about The Witcher 3. Not due out 'til second half of 2014.

My only real limit is what I want. I have 4 games, console, controller and eye on pre-order. Might add another game or two. Most all of it already paid off. However I have only the console and 1 game for my xbone pre-order.

Not to go off topic but have you decided on a projector? If not I would recommend the BenQ W1070 or W1080ST. Both PJs are basically the same. Full 3d, 2 HDMI inputs, BLACK blacks and very clear picture. The only differences are the 1070 has lens shift and 1080 has a short throw lens. These PJs are loaded with features and are of top quality. They are about $1000 USD and can't be compared with any PJ for less than $3000...

Thanks to Spyrde for the sig/avy
