Looks like EA are finding ways to claw some extra cash from the pre owned sector think about it one buys new with the over priced cost and another gets it for about 30 the extra cost for the game that doesn't seem to give you value for money is the loss they would get from the pre owned game

I can't believe I missed this. That's outrageous. Glad I got my PS4 Battlefield 4 launch edition bundle pre-ordered. That'll probably be the last EA game I ever purchase.

Amazon is already listing Need for Speed Rivals at 43.99.

I don't think this will stick. They'll price themselves out of the market and after they resume the "normal" price many will be too disgusted and not return. Just like the Xbox One.

    Good luck.

I'm crying? I didn't realize that. Whichever way you look at it, it is pretty silly to hear that EA may be raising game prices for next-generation games. No one else seems to be doing this, meaning, if it came to fruition, it is nothing more than blatant company greed. Yes, as a consumer, that's a little disheartening.

If this was just a rumor I would think EA would have said it was false by now. This just makes them look bad.

That doesn't necessarily mean that won't change after the generation actually takes off.

Whelp, guess I won't be buying any EA games. $#@! that noise.
    Agreed...

I say we boycott EA Games. If we boycott, they lose money and are more likely to listen to the gaming community. They are practically robbing us.

can't see them retailing at these prices to be honest, the prices will soon get driven down by the supermarkets fighting for your grocery . You can get games that retails at 49.99 for 39.99 etc in Tesco for the PS3.

I'm not too worried......if you are foolish enough to buy games from GAME at full rrp then more the fool you.

Yeah, it would be hard work for EA to sell me a game already. If this is the price-point they go with, they've just upped it from 'Hard' to 'Near impossible'.

Good luck with your pricing, EA.
