It wouldn't matter Forza vs anything always goes on forever.

I always find it funny. Its like comparing malibu barbie and regular barbie and arguing which is more like a real woman.

    Forza 5?

Oh, you mean the game that can't do day/night or weather effects? Gotcha

People arguing about which looks better, Forza or Driveclub. It's really silly because both looks visually amazing and even visually on par with each other. All these people going on about "I can see baked lighting" don't even know what baked lighting looks like.

Baked lighting is non-real time lighting.

Most of us will take the better physics, graphics, gameplay, car selection and track selection as well as 60 fps locked of Forza over a game that has real time lighting or weather.

DriveClub devs are still aiming for 60fps.. And it will have weather effects just like the racing games we've been accustomed to since... The PS2 era.. If only the power of the cloud could make it rain..

Those that played Driveclub at E3 said the graphics were bland with poor textures, Didnt really see those comments about Forza 5. The thing is you'd expect an arcade game to look vastly superior to a sim as the sim takes all the power from the console for the physics.

I'm not going to argue about which game has better physics or gameplay. In the end it's a game where you drive X miles in a circle.....to me thats a whole lot of ZzzzZZzZZzzzzz.

But you can't deny the fact the game is lacking in detail if it can't do effects on a next gen system that current gen systems do today. And its hardly a trade off when the human eye can barely recognize the difference between 30 and 60 fps.

High framerate is important in racing games because it means that the engine is optimized to check physics calculations more fluidly.

That being said, the game engine in Forza sets the bar so low, I'd actually be mad if it didn't achieve this framerate. The whole "no weather" thing as well as no realtime shadows or much of anything else means that there is next to no demand on the engine.

This would be like starting Monopoly with five times as much money as your opponent then celebrating when you win. The Driveclub developers are asking the PS4 to do much much more work. In comparison, Forza 5 is about as sophisticated as a spork.

The less going on, the less calculations are needed regardless. And the fact Forza will never have to calculate rain drops or head light effects on the street during night driving makes achieving 60fps a walk in the park.

Had all those features been there AND it had 60fps....I'd be clapping. But right now this comparison is apples to oranges.

Why don't you do it, if you're capable of finding a face palm picture, surely you're capable of finding pics of games too?

They are same thing that do different services Azure does bits for xb1 games then has rest done by xb1 whille Gaikai is running the whole Game only thing ps4 is doing is working as a controller and visual output, technically the GaiKai service could provide better graphics then what the ps4 could do in future.

This anonymous developer..... He/she is an app Dev for Android, iOS etc for all we know.
PCs are very much like Air Conditioners.
They both become utterly useless once you start to open up Windows....

Are you referring to the building or something when you refer to no real time shadows?
