I've never been too keen of the cover for Sleeping Dogs, but it has grown on me. I don't feel it suits the style of the game, the cover makes it look a lot more Japanesey/anime-esque. Though it is quite cool looking, I guess and the cartoon appearance is rather impressive. Red Dead Redemption is nothing special, but it's an interesting art style and uses good colours, enabling it to have a really prominent appearance. This is a hard one as neither stands out as being definitively better to me; I'm not wild about either but both have their merits. It was tricky and I'm still undecided for sure, but I went with Red Dead Redemption. Though I'll probably change my mind overnight...

There is too much going on with the Sleeping Dogs cover for me.

It's difficult to choose. As a critic, I think the Sleeping Dogs cover is very well done. But I personally think it's too busy, and I don't enjoy the art style too much. Similar to Beasley, it has grown on me some. But there's something to appreciate about RDR's cover. It's simple, probably too simple. But it also cuts straight to the point, which is very befitting of the serious and gritty theme of the game. I also like the bright red, which I remember appreciating when I finally got the game. All that said, I'm not really a fan of either case.

If a gun was pointed to my head, I'd pick RDR.
