    Who has SwapMagic 3 for PS2?

    Well, I just bought mine from USA and its coming next week. I couldn't wait to have it in my hands and play those Japanese PS2 games such as Metal Slug 3D that was only released in Japan. Anyone got it?

    This is the first time I'm hearing of this. Wut is Swapmagic? Is it like the gameshark of emulators or something?

    It it a disc swapper to run pirated / imported PS2 games, but swap magic is old, people these days use a Memor32 memory card provided their PS2 is supported.

    I won't use it to copy games. I will use it to play those legit PS2 Japanese games and that is all.

    Its a disc that has a program I think will let you play any import Japanese games on US PS2. Watch this video;

    This is better than Swap Magic

    If people are interested this is a better route, you can stay fully legal and load PS2 games off a HDD! + home brew

    But about the games that are being stored on that memory think. Do you have to install them there or the memento have them installed already? I already purchased Swapmagic 3 so its to late for me.

    Its alright bro.

    Momemto is like a hack, the special memory card has a usb port on one side to install the hack to the card, you can install these hacks on a regular card too provided you have a method. Momento is just one of these hacks, there are others too you just need the memory card in on boot then you can take it out, don't overwrite or format the hack, lol.

    Since my PS2 has a full chip installed I can use homebrew to install anything I want from usb to memory card including this hack, lol.
