I'll only be happy when devs use it. Just cuz it's there doesn't guarantee their use. But the fact Kinect will be with every console gives them less excuses not to use it.

A lot of great features for the core gamers, but I don't think any of it is new news. I think Microsoft already talked about the game uploading and person recognition thing at E3 and the Xbox One reveal debut.

    Video recording sounds ok.
They mentioned youtube sharing. Please correct me but ps4 wont support youtube. At least nobody confirmed that. Right?

Part of me likes some of the ideas, but the other part of me wonders why I'd ever care about them?

I don't play multiple people in the room, my gaming friends live in another country a thousand miles away, so automatically switching profiles doesn't help much. The only people I know locally who might play on my console won't have accounts. Why would I want to put my face on an avatar, or model a character after my normal pudgy self? I play videogames to escape being me. I'm not likely to use even the PS4's longer 15 minute recording time to post videos, so 5 minutes doesn't really thrill me. Personally I could do with out most of the social media features. I'd trade them all for the ability to play .mkv files natively.

PS4 supports system wide game video recording upto 15minutes to UStream/Facebook/YouTube/

I wonder, is Killer Instinct the only Xbox One game with video recording? It's not system wide, but developer allocated right?

    thanks for the link.

looks like Smartglass/Kinect and rumble triggers are going to offer game changers for most all nextgen games.
