    Junglists

Some epic UK jungle from the mid 90s

This late 80s techno track influenced the sound of many jungle DnB records the sound is known as "Reese Bass"

    "Jungalists are you ready!!"

Wicked thread Keefy!! I'm on my phone s d tapatalk doesn't like YouTube links but I'll check them out later!

I feel like it was a thread created specifically for me!

Reese bass is amazing! And not just because it shares my name. You may already link it in the video but Alex Reece 'pulp fiction' has one if the best baselines ever. Such an iconic tune!

So fun when mixing to have Pulp Fiction just be using the snare and bass. The bass blends with so many songs and you can alway hear it coming in.

Not sure if you linked it but Ray Keith's Dark Soldier has one of the best examples of an 'amen break' in jungle ever

Ray Keith has produced some amazing tracks. I did prefer dark soldier to chopper though!

How I wish I was born a decade earlier!

Edit: Now i'm on my PC i can see the tunes you linked! Big up! Terrorist has to be one of my favourite tunes!

Check out the amen break from 4:30 onwards.

This was the song regarding the iconic bassline. Such a beauty. MetalHeadz has to be one of my favourite labels and of course it's ran by this unforgettable fellow...

    Speaking of Iconic...

The drop in this tune is flawless until this day. Still sends shivers down my spine. I can only imagine what it would've been like to hear this when it first was played out.

Always liked this one as a more down temp track less dirty and grimey.

    $#@! YEAH!! I LOVE DNB!

    Top 5 for me:

    LTJ Bukem
    Photek
    Goldie
    Lemon D
    Dillinjia

Not all are jungle dnb, but they're $#@!ing amazing too!

I wish this genre was still as strong as it was in the 90's. There's some incredible tracks and more people need to listen to this awesome music. I got into this in 2010. I wish I had earlier.

My current favourite for a long ass while now.

    $#@! dubstep!

Borderline DnB when ti was in its infancy and still starting to emerge as a genre in its own right.

You ave to listen to thi in HD otherwise the bass is so low youtube compresses it too much and it sounds really bad and distorted.
It will auto play in HD when you click link.
