"The biggest adversary in our life is ourselves. We are what we are, in a sense, because of the dominating thoughts we allow to gather in our head. All concepts of self-improvement, all actions and paths we take, relate solely to our abstract image of ourselves. Life is limited only by how we really see ourselves and feel about our being. A great deal of pure self-knowledge and inner understanding allows us to lay an all-important foundation for the structure of our life from which we can perceive and take the right avenues.

Racism in general bothers me greatly... and it's sad that in this day and age that it's as prevalent as it is.

This needs to die. It costs the same as broadband internet. Dial-up needs to be outlawed.

you know what the biggest problem i think it is? we as a human race have a hard time taking responsibility and consequences for our actions. hardly ever when something big happens does the perpetrator say "i did it, it was my fault and my decision to perform such an act". No, its always someone else's fault, or some media's fault. for instance, violence in young adults isn't ever their fault, its always "violent video games" or some such other. bullocks, i do not believe in one instance that outside factors such as this contribute to it. either there is something mentally wrong, or they decided to do it because they wanted to.

Another problem with today's society is selfishness. People don't care who they hurt or who they affect, they do what benefits them only.

agreed. however I do think it is a bit more complex than that. some people are just $#@!s of course but some get that way because they've had it done to them so many times. it's like a never ending cycle.
