    I didn't admit anything. I'm going on the gameplay footage i've seen from both games and Ryse is more impressive IMO. It's really subjective, especially at this point when they are both still unfinished. Ryse has also been updated according to the devs, and not just the QTE thing. Both games are impressive but with things like realistic facial animation expressions really put Ryse out in front. It's not just me saying this. People at gamescom were saying the same thing, which is subjective also. The game is undoubtedly beautiful and gruesome.

    Ryse is not that impressive gameplay wise. LOL graphically it looks really good, but gameplay wise? meh

    So that's about 6666 times better than Ryse

    In the current demo, there are about a million polygons in the set, and a little less than a million per character on the screen (i.e. a total of 4 million when the three characters are on the screen). Each character has about 350 MB of textures and about forty different shaders. It’s all managed with Physically Based Shaders, volumetric lights, full HDR, Color Grading, Physical Lenses (particularly useful for chromatic aberrations and 3D depth of field), and translucence for more realistic rendering of the skin. The change of set and all the lighting (and the behavior of the shaders) between the dramatic version of the set and the “studio” version is done in real time. The same holds true for all pyrotechnical particle effects.

    The Naughty Dog job listing last year asking for experience with million poly characters makes a lot more sense now

    Don't get me wrong, the stuff looks gorgeous that Capcom and QD showed running in real time, but they are tech demos. There is no actual gameplay nor does it have anything to do with a game in development.
