That would mean you could give away free copies of games and doubt publishers will that.
It's funny that in this day in age people can steal as long as they have a reason too. Even if that reason is created by the thieves themselves.

    MS has already confirmed this.

"We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that (developers) want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so then the question is, what do you do for the rest of the nine-and-a-half years?"

Uhm... Show me were it says that games purchased on disc will be uploaded to the cloud (and available for download when playing on another system.)

I'll call BS on this right now.

And must stay online to keep playing? Is this pre drm or after the policy change?

So lets say I want to stream my music from the cloud during gameplay? Can I upload 1 terabyte of MP3's to the cloud? If not, this is not a real cloud.

You can purchase a digital game from gamestop, proceed to download the game to your HDD, since it's already in the cloud. Then go to your brothers house and you won't need the disc because the game is already there on the cloud. You can do this TODAY on the Xbox 360.

No where has Microsoft said anything about being able to download your retail disc based games.
