Just planning to Download DEMONS SOULS as part of the IGC of PS PLUS!
It's downloading on my PS3 in the Background right now with Broadband @15MBPS which I got today..!
Is it still worth playing even to this day or Should I pick up Dark Souls and Skip this coz of balancing issues that my friends have been talking about it being Crazy Difficult and Frustrating.
Is it True or will the Hard Work sticking to this game pay off.?
Share your Demons souls thoughts friends!
Any Beginner tips will also help!

Demon's Souls being difficult is part of its charm, and I honestly find it better than Dark Souls in some areas (I kind of dislike the fact its limited in healing items, it makes it seem like its faking being hard)
Absolutely yes it is still worth playing. Game of the gen for me! It is one of "those" games that people should experience. Even if you don't like it, it's a significant step in gaming history. Only a couple other games this gen are on that level IMO
As for balancing issues, Demon's Souls is a better balanced game than Dark Souls is. Both in PvE and PvP. It sticks firmly on the right side of difficulty, it is never unfair
Short answer, Yes.
Long answer, Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!
Started playing Demon's Souls guys. And guys its punishingly addictive. I've never had this type of Adrenaline rush or a sense of what might be lurking behind any corner that might instantly Kill me! That THRILL is absolutely the best experience I've had after 15 years of gaming which I got from Ninja Gaiden on the NES.
Few TIPS will help me guys!
Tip No 1: Prepare to die......alot
Tip No 2: Don't be afraid to run away
Tip No 3: If you reach an area and you cannot proceed due to difficulty, go back and grind a few levels. It will still be difficult but hopefully less punishing.
That's all i can think of off the top of my head.
(Oh and get a bow and arrow, go under the bridge beneath the red dragon and shoot his tail off. It will take a long time but you will get a good sword for a starter which you can use for quite a while through the game.) - This is for Dark Souls, got mixed up

The online community may be dead, which is a bummer for you, but the overall game is still absolutely incredible. Far better then Dark Souls in my personal opinion.
The boss of 3-3(3-4?) is the most epic boss of all time.
I actually just started it the other day. I'm at an advantage though as I'm coming over from Dark Souls, so I know what to expect and am used to the play style already.
I started playing about a month ago. I was also thinking it might be a little late to join now.
However, the game is fantastic. It really makes you go back to the tactics of older games where you just have to keep trying and it doesn't really hold your hand.
Also, I'm surprised at how many people still play this. One tip I can give is...always keep your shield up.
