    These guys aren't slowing down...

    source: http://ca.ign.com/articles/2013/08/0...me-at-gamescom

Ubisoft is teasing the reveal of a new franchise at Gamescom next month. In an announcement of its Gamescom lineup today, Ubisoft said it will “share details on a new next-gen IP currently in development during the show,” though no other details were provided.

The tease may be referring to Child of Light, the new game from Far Cry 3 creative director Patrick Plourde that Ubisoft previously said will be revealed at GDC Europe (which takes place in the days leading up to Gamescom).

Gamescom will run from August 21-25 in Cologne, Germany. Ubisoft’s lineup will also include Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Watch Dogs, The Crew, Rayman Legends and Splinter Cell Blacklist.
Thus far I want AC4, Watch Dogs, The Crew and The Division from Ubisoft. If a new Farcry is announced, I'll jump on that too. What else can they possibly come out with that I want?

Think I'll just sign my checks over to them and save myself the effort of having to decide how to spend my money.

    Come find me on Twitch.tv!

Ubisoft was turning to $#@!...they are redeeming themselves. Now just release Rainbow Six, and get Ghost Recon back to it's roots.

I have actually liked all Ubi's titles.. even the so-called "$#@!" ones... but their newfound focus on these upcoming titles is inspiring

TBH I've never liked them, only The Division interests me so far.

Overall, Ubisoft has been awesome. I just saw some lapse in judgement there for awhile. The Ghost Recon Future Soldier was a let down compared to Ghost Recon Summit Strike and even Advanced Warfighter. Some didn't like their direction with Rainbow Six Vegas 2, and some didn't like their direction with Splinter Cell. But the new Rainbow and the new Splinter Cells looks to be back on track with appeal. The Division looks epic. FarCry 3 made up for the joke that was FarCry 2. AC4 is just blowing minds out there compared to the previous titles.

It seems they are firing on all cylinders and might be the publisher to beat this gen. Loving their direction.

Eh, I just don't like them or their games. Only decent one in the last few years was Far Cry 3 and all their upcoming ones look boring. Their business practices have been amongst the worst of a bad bunch and all of their titles feel the same. I realise that is their method and they design games with a "blueprint" and I guess some people like that but not me.

They had a great thing with PoP then ruined it with that 08 abomination. Forgotten Sands was ok but compared to the PS2 trilogy still under par

    Maybe so,

AWESOME at the start, but drowning all the way to the end... Just makes no sense, throwing out series after series and expecting people to change automatically

Yeah, we are indeed liking what Ubisoft is bring out. The way they are going, they might end up doing the best they have ever done this new gen. I am already buying every title announced from Ubisoft for the new gen.

Yup I agree. Watch Dogs and The Division will be the ones I definitely have to get and I expect great things to come.

Even though Ubisoft has obviously milked assassins creed almost to the point where I'm really undecided on black flag, I'm still interested in seeing what other games they have to offer.

It's not like the recent AC games were bad, it's just that they didn't really add anything new. If they can come out with something new and refreshing like Watch Dogs could be, they will get my money.

They bring 3 new ips with next gen , so I don't see any bad in them except AC series. They are milking Assassins hard. I am sure their new ip will be good enough to get most of the gamers attention.

But DIVISION and WATCHDOGS will be milked and they already said that they are going to continue the open world style... But you can only go so far, before it becomes boring

I don't care if they milk a series. If I get sick of the series then I will stop playing it. In no way does milking a series effect me negatively. I still like playing Call of Duty and they make a CoD game every year. Same goes with Battlefield and I will continue getting those games every year. Once a better game comes out to where I feel those games are obsolete for my taste...I will stop playing those. Until then...keep bringing those games.

Not bought a UBI game for a while since their games usually came with horrendous DRM that if your net went down for even a second you were kicked out the game.

Last game of theirs I did buy was Splinter cell conviction on PC which makes me use their $#@!ty Uplay client even when I bought it on steam.
So to play the game I have to launch Steam click on conviction which then launches UBi's Uplay client then I click the conviction game which in turn finally starts the game.
I thought to myself maybe I could Bypass steam by logging straight into Uplay using the same details but doing so shows no games in the library.

Excuse me while I don't bow down and worship such horrid practices.

The division is my most wanted multi format game for ps4. And I'll be getting watchdogs at launch too. If they are great games and the sequels are also great then bring them on I say

I have a question about "milking" was final fantasy milked by the time ff vii was made? If so then I am glad because that gave me months of enjoyment unlike any other game I have owned.
