    Knack doesn't sound good from OPM previews

    I haven't been following this game lately but I read an alleged preview from OPM on Knack that seems to reiterate what they said back in June about it being a one button kind of game (press square to defeat all types of enemies).

    The newer preview also mentions an irritating inability to control the camera, achingly linear levels and that the most advanced thing you're able to do is change shape to bypass laser traps. That said, I can understand why I don't see many people talking about this game as they might have been expecting a complex platformer.

    Yeah I dont think I've heard anything positive about that game from anybody who's had hands on with it. I wasn't planning on buying it anyway.

    I haven't heard anything positive either. He kicks ass with hardware though So we can play other great games.

    you can't change the camera because it's from a fixed point of view and it makes total sense. not every game has to be that way.

    i really like the game so far and i didn't see it being so easy that you can defeat enemies by just pressing the sqaure button.

    don't agree.

    honestly, this is the first game i want to play on my PS4. why? because i haven't played a game like this for a long time (platformer) and i'm getting tired of shooters...even though i'm going to be getting those.

    this is the perfect game to play for me while i take a break from shooters.

    Kinda fell off my radar at E3 but I'm glad SCE is still interested in making platformers.

    I've said from the beginning this game looks $#@!, Reminds me of a mobile game when i see video's.

    This game looked like a failure from the start. Knack is to Playstation what Ryse is to Xbox.

    Minor quibbles to me. PLenty of games use a one or two button thing. Still, not dismissing it as a negative to others, just saying that nitpicky things (to me) don't bother me as much/

    Want a platformer at launch, and so long as it isn't complete garbage, I'll prob still get it.

    (NOW JUST RELEASE A $#@!IN RELEASE DATE SONY!)

    There isn't a whole hell of a lot going on, it still looks to me like a PS1/PS2 type of game (not graphics), but the number of enemies, the amount going on etc.

    Nice big empty cities.

    I can see this being popular with someone who wants to start getting into playing games (like how Nintendo has Mario) but for hardcore gamers or people already familiar with platformers, Knack doesn't look like it'll leave much of an impression.

    To me Knack just feels like the kind of game that Nintendo would make (childish), but with better looking graphics. Not my cup of tea. But it's good that they (Sony) mix it up a bit, that there's something for (almost) every taste.

    yea i like the details this game has. lots of small details that you can even see in the youtube videos.

    Same applies to most of these types of games, eg Lego games and the upcoming Marvel Super Heroes (which may end up being my first PS4 game) etc.

    Splitscreen co-op will make or break it for me. Best thing I have seen of this game so far is the amount of unlockables looks to be pretty crazy.

    go to 9:05 on that video i posted, look at the lighting and details, tell me that's not amazing.

    ok sorry not amazing but pretty lol. to me, that's as close to pixar we have come so far unless you can show me some other platformer that is doing it better.

    to each their own. i don't see a problem with fewer enemies. i didn't think having more dumber enemies in God of War was better.

    Its in the same boat as Ryse to me, very pretty, kinda boring.
