Brilliant new Vita update 2.60 now live.

IMO anyway. Added some excellent features which I've wanted for a while.

The main 2 points for me are:

Firstly, Long hold press on PS Button menu overhauled:

Secondly, (and after my rant the other day and How To guide) the transferring of saves trough PS+ has been massively revised.

PS+ icon now in the Live Area of a game to select to upload/download saves:

    Fantastic

Also, in content manager the Online storage menu has been revised with the following.

    Select saved data:

And you select which content to auto upload:

There has also been revisions to the music and video playback but I never used that before so do not know what's new.

    Cheers

    Gaz

That's the update I'm waiting on, more real games. No more Indies please, my phone can do that.

I agree with what you are both saying in the games department.

Been having a play with the vita connected to my PC wirelessly and the ability to stream content from the PC has been added too. Can browse and play my photo albums, music and movie collections no problem.

Some decent features in this update.

I am now able to use a bluetooth speaker... I don't remember it working before perhaps it did. Does anyone know if this worked before?

Is the streaming of ps3 videos and music only work if vita is connected by usb? In pc theres an option for streaming content over wifi but on ps3 i can only see usb option. Maybe I need to register ps3 or something?

    Bloody love the new update.

    Especially the Android-like power toggles.

    #IndieStation4 and proud of it.

I think it's the bubbles and game/app icons that have antialiasing now. Looks nice.
