10-06-2005 #206actualy its also for saving battery life it sets it to where you can hear it fine but is low anough to save battery life. all cd players have it and if you have certain headphones like mine sound doesnt escape.AVLS stands for automatic volume limiter system. it help prevent sound escaping from the headphones, as well as possible danger resulting from being unable to hear what is going on around you.

10-06-2005 #207Referring to the PSP manual, that’s all it happened to say. (Nothing about saving battery life, but I imagine it does because of the reason you mentioned). My NetMD also has AVLS, but I never use it.

The long awaited downloadable content for Killzone: Liberation is finally available, and you can download the content right here ( www.killzone.com ).
The downloadable content package is free of charge, and it includes the previously announced infrastructure mode. So you can now play online with Killzone against your friends all over the world.
The new content also includes an all new chapter in the storyline of the game and it includes new vehicles and multiplayer maps, the package weights about 80 mb.
If you are a real Killzone fan you can now also download some unlockable content for each level you completed. And of course we will keep you up to date on any new downloadable content for Killzone: Liberation.
