Cool, really dodged a bullet there, but don't go painting the Superman symbol on your chest quite yet. The backlash wasn't just well-deserved for or at Microsoft. It was literally a unifying battlecry for gamers everywhere that publishers and console-makers have the option to turn gaming into the scariest media possible due to its interactive nature. I'll just say what the collective subconscious was telling all of us when the XBone was first unveiled.. It's not like TV was ever able to tell Garnier or Vidal Sassoon how long and frizzy my hair may be. It's not like when I watch a movie at the theatres, they ever knew that a suburban white male in his late-twenties to early thirties would prefer Hot Tamales over a bucket of pocorn. It's not even like when I read a book, the author will ever know that I prefer to read their book in bed as opposed to the couch or anywhere else.. The point being.. Gaming was about to be used against us. Our hobby and preferred media was about to be a trojan horse for Corporate America to invade our living-rooms and bedrooms and return the favor by not even allowing us to freely lend games to our friends. The XBox One wasn't just another generic Microsoft product to draw the ire and jokes of the internet. It was a tool for pure evil. It was taken for granted that gamers are, by their very natures, always on the bleeding edge of technology adoption. The miscalculation was made that we'd be apathetic or even outright blinded by the tactic of unveiling the draconian DRM and mandatory spy device via the gaming press. They were wrong. They had every eye on THEM, instead. No one ate their bull$#@! except the most die-hard brand loyalists. They underestimated you. It was a gamble that they lost. The XBox One was a Lost Odyssey before it began.
The PS4 preorder numbers caused MS to Quake in their boots so they reversed a bunch of unpopular policies in order to avoid impending Doom.

We will all have to Prey that they have learned their lessons and avoid Oblivion.

Right now, MS must want to take a Portal to another dimension, one where kinect is king and they see a Rise of the Robots, but we will stand firm, we will continue with our Defiance.

He's certainly going into the eagles nest with his comments, which is just Dandy, he thinks he's Elite, but you could say hes a bit of a Mercenary. All his Commando style attitude makes me Dizzy. He needs to cool his afterburner or he will outrun his usefulness.

It would seem that after all the fuss, what we saw at the unveiling was really just a...

    Prototype.

MS are truly leaving it all out on the Battlefield now. One might say they are an Army of Two right now, as in before and after their console alterations.

"It's quite an unfair thought that Microsoft are trying to control our gaming, they're trying to force us to be online all the time," he said. "[People] didn't really think that through."
No, Pete, we really did think that through. Look at what MS did with the PC gaming scene with their horrible GFWL service. Look at how MS is actually make us think that we have to pay to watch a frigging youtube on console. Look at their attempt to stop us from lending our games to friends and families.

Also, look at how you tried to fool us with that pathetic scripted MILO demo that barely has anything to do with GAMING.
