I don't watch these shows and just sort of stumble upon whatever is announced later--like that Journey/Ico/Indie/water-painting game that I recently saw, holy ba-jeebuz that looked beautiful. I think it's for PS4. And Titanfall looks ballin', but I'm a one-console type of guy, so I'll just have to tip my hat to those who get to enjoy it on the new Xbox while I enjoy Shadowfall on my PS Quadruple.

As for Vita--I haven't seen anything remotely interesting, so I assume jack-$#@! was shown at Gamescom. But Mercenary, if it's as good as it looks, is enough for me to hold onto the Vita forever and ever. That, and the other games I'm already enjoying.

Like I said--I don't follow the events themselves, so it is while surfing through 4chan, or looking up reviews/discussions of another game that I might espy a screenshot of something recently announced, and being that not everything grabs my interest I will only click on links to things which immediately tickle my fancy.

I haven't heard of the game you mention. I'll go give it a whirl on Youtube.

I was already convinced, just waiting it out for that revision/redesign. Minecraft was the best announcement though, but even without any games I'd buy it for Desktop Remote Play and replay a whole ton of older PC games. PS4 remote play would be great but it's not backwards compatible with PS2 or PS3 games so kinda useless. I'd like to play older games too from time to time.

Remote play looked convincing. Will still keep it regardless.

Had my Vita for a year now and with PS+ i have so many games I can't get to them all, plus with remote play coming with the PS4, no reason to even think about getting rid of it. Still holding out hope for a bigger named game release though, Borderlands 2 is pretty big but it is still a port we need a new AAA type game for the Vita

I'm keeping it regardless of GamesCom. Also, GC still has three more days.

I've kept mine this long I may as well hang on to it now and see how it's used during the life of the PS4. Still feel though that the Vita has been a missed opportunity for Sony. Still no flagship game or franchise made specifically for it.

Having said that I am very pleased to see Football Manager Classic 2014 is coming to the Vita. I lurrrrrv my FM games. Nice that you can share the saves across all your platforms (PC, Mac, Vita)

Yup, confirmed that as the saves are made to the 'cloud' (most overloaded term ever) that they are compatible with all versions of the game and so you can play a match on the train on your Vita, save the result to the cloud, get home and continue playing on your PC/Mac

    Yes and No.

I was happy about a $200 Vita, until it was later announced memory cards only went down $20. 32 GB Memory Cards are still too much money to me, so once they shave another $20 off the price Ill consider picking one up.

I wasn't thinking of selling my Vita, so on that grounds Gamescom didn't affect my opinion either way.

Nope, I'll wait and see how I feel once I get a PS4. The Remote Play features may sway me.

While I was abit disappointed no God of War or inFamous were announced, Killzone and Tearaway will definitely keep me occupied for a while.

The remote play function looks great but want to see how seamless it is to get from PS4 to the Vita.

Borderlands 2 was a great announcement and I'm super excited for this as I haven't played it on PS3.

Hopefully with the price cut the Vita will gradually get a larger install base which devs will take note of to bring some more console titles to the platform.

Obviously there's all the indie titles due too and can't wait for the Joe Danger series to hit the Vita.

I never was selling the Vita before Gamescom so with what's been announced I am more than happy and it definitely did no harm to the Vita neither. The future is definitely looking a lot brighter than prior Gamescom too.

A quick question, I don't know of its possible or been confirmed or not but do we know if its possible to play online while using remote play or is that a complete no no

I would think so since it's essentially just streaming from your ps4... So therefore you should be allowed to play multi-player. I haven't heard any different so I believe it's fair to say you can

Dunno since you'll be using the wifi bandwidth, might have to be connected via ethernet.
