Dev says ps4 has more power, xbox live policies not sorted out

    http://m.edge-online.com/news/gaijin...g-to-xbox-one/

Warhammer devs say ps4 gpu is 40% more powerful.

also the game wont be coming to xbox because they dont have they're f2p and self publishing policies close to being sorted.

I really can't wait for this generation to start, it has all the feeling of the PS1 generation except the graphics now are incredibly super charged! I have a feeling some really (even more) amazing games are going to come out for the PS4!

    War Thunder, not Warhammer.

Got me excited for a bit there.

You know, Air games have really taken a mysterious dip.
I mean, heck, we all used to dream of flying, they were all the rage, and Flight Sim and Janes were amazing on PC, and on PS we had Air and Ace Combat.
It just seems to have taken such a dip.
War Thunder could be just the thing. F2P and easy access to get people back up in the air.
However, that also brings me to:
    Space Combat stuff...

BRING ME BACK SOME COLONY WARS!!!

Flight sims indeed have died off in the last 10-ish years however in the last year it seems like there's been a huge resurgence of flight sims and people have been wanting them, just take a look at Star Ciizen for instance, they were expecting no more than $2m and then get the rest from investors, now it's ending up to becoming a sole crowd funded game and it's almost at $17m... there isn't going to be investors now that's for sure!

If Star Citizen is anything to go by then it's quite obvious that people have been craving this genre for so long and publishers just haven't gone with it.

That war thunder is very accessible. You can have the cotnrols as easy as you like simplified or you can have proper realism when you adjust flaps and rudders and allsorts.

You can play it ree on PC its even on steam I tried ta couple weeks a go with some fellow here.

True but at least in Star Citizen's case I think it's because it is a AAA space game, rather than the fact it's a flight/ship sim.

It's kind of good that the PS4 is only 40% more powerful. It means optimizing PS4 games for the lesser hardware will be a lot easier without much lost fidelity. But it's a shame to here Xbox Live for Xbox One still isn't sorted out yet.

this is the first time I actually heard a dev make that statement. I mean before there was a source or NDAs restricted them from saying anything; but they were extremely clear on the advantages. I hope MS figures out its Live policies. To me this shows, that opening the Xbone up as dev kist wasn't as easy as it seemed.
