It was buggy beyond belief and it just was never enjoyable at all

That said the fighting is pretty easy so far, I went on a killing spree on Boston and wiped out most of the guards just to get used to the fighting style!! It's safe to say, at the beginning at least guns aren't really something to worry about...I expect that will change though!!
YES. Guns WILL be something to worry about in the future.

The story as a whole is the main thing to worry about for the future of the series... Because it has dried up

I 100% agree. I think Ubisoft rushed developing the game.

I didn't run into any bugs I can remember. Maybe playing it this far out from launch the patches I DL'd fixed it.

Granted you never can tell these days. Alot of people found bugs in TLOU, and I played that lil gem from start to finish without seeing a single bug. Then when I tried to play it for a second playthrough on survivor mode, the game crashed during the segment showing a clicker killing me.

    Come find me on Twitch.tv!

You are lucky i guess.. But be warned the bugs are there, you just have not encountered them yet

At sequence 6 now, finally a bit of freedom to explore and buy stuff!

Guns while fighting still not the problem I was expecting though, those soldiers couldn't hit a barn door from 10 feet!!! Liberating forts is pretty simple, kill the few guards on the outside, charge in and have fun!!

Only gripe now is the camera can be irritating, but it's fun otherwise!

The game was also unrealistic, I get shot 5 times in a row and I am still alive :/

Thats why I think the game should always be set in the ancient times. Imagine searching for the Apple of Eden in the pyramids in Egypt! With all the super trained templar knights coming out of nowhere to stop you, I will so buy that game!
