Yea, I posted this vid and some gifs in the other thread. I agree on the graphic details. The grass looks very realistic.

Pretty poor video to showcase this game.
It's funny that in this day in age people can steal as long as they have a reason too. Even if that reason is created by the thieves themselves.

It wasn't really a showcase. It was jut bits and pieces of the level people got o see t gamescom. This is the level people were talking about that had the realistic grass. For a launch title, it does look awesome.

The video is bipolar. Decent on the interviewees, bad on the gameplay.

I had posted this in the other thread but it's more fitting here because the topic is about the single player.

That grass is pretty impressive, I still think this game was supposed to work with Kinect but they couldnt manage it so they've had to quickly make it work with the control pad.

Actually it's other way around, this game seems to be doing the most stuff under the hood. The highest poly characters, the biggest encounters [more than 50 characters on screen], FFT tessellated water, the best Bokeh and MB in the business [better even than C3], real-time caustics, heavy geometry based grass rendering with visibility over 100m, great shadow rendering with penumbra, very good lod transitions, PoM and tessellation, real-time reflections on everything, soft-collision particles, lit and shadowed particles, grass and particles wind physics, volumetric fog shadows, real time GI.
Its packed with tech in every possible way.

I like how the grass moving remains the same speed when the characters go into slow motion, haha.

I'll cut the game some slacks but 100 characters on screen? Will they be duplicates or will there be variety with different animations? No point in judging a game till it goes gold...ms might turn this game into a trilogy like they did with geow if it sells well

Gameplay seems a bit QTE through out. Slows down for every attack. Not feeling the canned animation at all.

I know they say work in progress emblazoned on each video, but i hope that's not because it's running on titans and i7 PC. I hope the final game doesn't end up with animations like this:

Maths is biased! It keeps telling me the PS4 is 50% more powerful than XboxOne!

It's interesting how someone can take 10 frames from a 15 minute video and try to say it represents the whole. Desperate times call for desperate measures I guess.

I don't see anything wrong with those animations. The combat looks realistic like it should be. I like the fact that the character can't swing a sword like it weighs 2 ounces.

The guy is just giving his opinion just like you. No different than people praising this game based off of videos. Not everybody is going to agree with your opinions. Stop being so sensitive over a gaming console. Not everything is a conspiracy.

Uh....he said he "hopes" it "doesn't" represent the whole. You're kinda jumping at shadows these days, dude.
