Someone brought up a good question. Is this actual controllers or Bluetooth devices?

I assume this was regarding the PS4 since the XB1 has 8 controller support and even if you stole a couple for other BT items I don't think it becomes a concern.

So, on the PS4 the only thing that's been reported regarding the quantity of controllers was 4 controllers - Reported via a Tweet by Shuhei Yoshida. Shuhei Yoshida, has in the past made tweets that left more questions than provided answers and so I don't think we know, but I would suspect that you wouldn't be limited to 4 BT devices total.

I'm sure it's not going to be ports...if that's what you were asking.

I agree with this statement; what was the point of having 7 controllers for one system? 7 players using one system sounds like it would be far too crowded of a virtual space for that many players- I sincerely doubt that xbox will make any significant use of this feature....

    ^^

Also...... Why are people being so silly about this. It's simply a matter of the harware they picked. The BT moduel apperantly handels more than the standard amont of controllers.

Why don't some of yall look at it this way. They could have easily picked a less capable BT module, that was also ****ier and would have given out in a month or 2 into having those console.

Price could have been a factor

Or it wasy just the capability of the hardware and coding it in to actually use all those connected input devices was nothing, so why not.

Also the is the 4k thing they'll probably push towards.

Plus they did sort of make a dig deal about having capable components to have multiple devices connected at once. as a side effect 7 controllers can be conected at once. Why not list it if can can actually be done.

Not sure if that made sense or came out a mindless pile of poo, I'm burned out from dealling with unluly computers and printer all day.
