Nothing confirmed but I'm guessing there might be some online multiplayer and if there is I would think it'd be a bit more like playing GTA online than MGO lol.

Nothing is confirmed yet. I'd like to see them give Metal Gear Online another go though.

Indeed and that's why like I said on my first post we should not expect anything like the previous 2 MGOs. No more CQC battles, oh I miss the CQC only battles from MGO on PS2.

CQC should still be incorporated as it does offer more variety than standard close range shotgun strafing from other games.
Large landscapes also do no mean there would not be indoors, caves or a random stealth attacks from a shrubbery.

Yeah I agree it wouldn't be an MGS without the CQC and I think they should stick to the same principles which made the last two MGOS great

Kojima confirmed they're workin on a new MGO back in June. There was a post on the forum about it somewhere.

Speaking with CVG, Hideo Kojima said, “Yes, we plan on creating Metal Gear Online. Multiplayer right now is being created at our LA studio as well as us. We’re working closely to create a vast multiplayer for all the fans.”

PCs are very much like Air Conditioners.
They both become utterly useless once you start to open up Windows....

Well yes if the character is able to do CQC in game of course it wouldn't be left out of the Online mode and sure buildings or in doors place should be available also but if it is presented with the same huge and vast landscape that they've shown I'm sure most people would recur to long range & stealth combat.
