Cuguy - would you have outlawed the word Xbone as fanboy terminology if you were still in charge?

i was going to say "Where is soldier!"
but i was too late
I think MS just xboned Major Nelson.
It was only a matter of time. I said before that Xbone would redirect to Xbox One when you typed it into Wikipedia and it was a commonly used abbreviation on social networking sites like Twitter.

"As long as there are dreamers who have the courage to pursue their dreams, the world will have heroes. And as long as there is a thirst to discover the unknown, there will be new stories to tell...and new adventures to be had."
Blame MS for making the "Xbone" popular.
Its like Apple calling their recent iPad "The New iPad", which is downright confusing. The term "Xbox One" confuses everyone that ever played with the original Xbox (which I happen to own).
Not that it helped that MS pretty much "boned" the consumer when the mandatory online DRM was revealed before the 180s, which made it worst.
I guess first impression is always important.

Nobody was calling the Xbox One "XBone" until the term "XBoned" was coined. There may be some innocent users of the term I'm sure. But.....those that trashed the console even before it's announcement and ever since? I'll believe their innocent use of it if they can pass a polygraph on the issue.
Personally ... I don't care. Call it XBone all day long. This term is certainly better than "XboxThreeShitty".
