After researching, I think they already gave the information. It looks like it was completely high level. The event held today was just on the show floor, at least from what I read. Maybe something will trickle out afterwards.

It will be held a day before Tokyo Game Show 2013 event i.e on Sep 18.

PS4The second press conference that Sony has planned is title as "The World Created by Playstation 4", it will be held on September 19.
So, they had two conferences? and they both have been?

I think keefy means LxHxW literally. The 2.5" HDD segment is fragmented compared to the 3.5".
We know we will be able to fit the traditional 2.5" 9.5mm drive in, but he wants to know about high capacity 2.5" 12.5mm HDDs.

It would also be fun if the controller will be able to handle SSD and support TRIM.

    This..

When has SONY ever released detailed specs BEFORE launch? IIRC all past specs were actually revealed by third parties after teardowns. If I'm not mistaken, the PS4 had more specs revealed by SONY pre-launch than any of their other consoles.

Perhaps the Sony statement got lost in translation.. PS4 detailed specs = PS4 detailed presentation (UI, remote play, PS app etc..)? The features were shown in greater details so IMO there was indeed a translation mistake.

The third conference yesterday was a live streaming of several games. There is one more conference today, at the same time. This was a strange venue for TGS, that same stage area is being used by multiple devs and it is set up more like a business presentation room, than a glitzy show stage. No big surprise but a lot of games and apps being played and running very smoothly. The fluidity of gameplay on the PS4 plus seeing how small, slender and sleek it looks, makes me wish it was the 2nd week of November.

I still don't think they will give us full detailed specs.

Im very disapointed that SONY is coming in this next gen with barely any AAA announced. Still crossing fingers for ND to show us some ground breaking stuff at the VGAs

I'm not disappointed. People need to remember that this is a launch. I have yet to see a launch filled with 15 AAA games. launches of a console are never groundbreaking. However, Sony with the amount of games releasing on the PS4 along with F2P games, this is groundbreaking news for a console. I only remember retro consoles like the NES and SNES having a game come with the console. in this case Sony is giving multiple free games and I personally think this is a huge deal. Not only that but we haven't heard all of the games being developed for the PS4 or multiplatform since most of those will be leaked and/or shown next year during E3.

I disagree, mainly because I purchased the PS4 first to get Infamous SS. Its not a launch game but it is in the first year launch window. There are many more games out there such as killzone and driveclub that will launch when the system release along with 26 other games. There are also others that are releasing during the first year launch window also such as The Order. There is also several 3rd party AAA games out there such as watch_dog. There are games out there, I think we just need to be patient especially since Sony best studios are releasing their, most likely, final games on the PS3; GOW, TLOU, Beyond, GT, etc. The PS4 second and 3rd year is going to be littered with first party exclusives. Also, it looks like Knack is starting to get more traction since TGS, maybe its a hidden gem.

On Topic: I am starting to think there was a translation issue with the revelation of the specs; lets just hope that the event tonight reveals something.

    +1

And the games will keep coming. This thing ( according to developers) is easy to make games for.
