Activision outlines all the ways you can upgrade from current to next-gen

Activision has outlined the many ways users can upgrade current-gen editions of Call of Duty: Ghosts to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 editions.
Relevant to both North America and European regions, the list of options includes a 'Game Ahead' program for Xbox consoles, which allows users to purchase a dual-license digital version of CoD: Ghosts at participating retailers.
Priced at $69.99 in the US, the Game Ahead package ties editions of the game for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One to a single gamertag.

The list details many retail-oriented options for GameStop, Amazon, Best Buy, GAME and the Microsoft Store, among others.
All transitions from current to next-gen editions will carry over stats and unlocks. Season Passes will also be upgraded at no extra cost.
Activision's exhaustive list follows a slow trickle of upgrade information, including Activision's announcement last month that upgrades can be obtained for a suggested retail price of $10.
UK retailer GAME is also offering trade-in incentives for current to next-gen trades.
Call of Duty: Ghosts will release on November 5 for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC. It is also a launch title for the PS4 and Xbox One, which release on November 29 (November 15 in the US) and November 22 respectively.
