I can't remember a single song on the IV soundtrack. They really didn't go wrong with any soundtrack decision for the PS2 era. III was probably my favorite followed by Vice City.

In V I'm loving Rebel Radio. Non Stop Pop and West Coast Classics ain't bad either.

It would have been nice though to have a station with music like MGMT, Foster the People and Owl City. That would make for some great driving around music and would fit the area.

I personally like the soundtrack, I like a lot of the old school hiphop. However I do agree not much of a variety, sure theirs different genres but when the classic and the new hiphop station has like 20 songs compared to 2-5 on the other ones than it's a little lame. I like rock, metal, punk, etc. basically I like a lot of genres so it would have been nice to have a better mix of music. Can't say I hate the soundtrack though.

    same with SA.

there has been nothing with the lat 2 installments that grabs me in the same way.

the only thing that sticks in my mind about IV is

    eins zwei drei...

can you honestly remember the entire IV sountrack?
You're supporting his point, nostalgia has a big impact. Music has a bigger impact on you at a younger age, and at a certain point it stops evolving.

There's a lot of songs I got from IV.

I thought it was quite decent compared to IV but nowhere near vice city. San andreas soundtrack I guess was slightly better though.

Soundtrack could be better. I do like how there are songs from 2pac, Dr Dre, and Snoop.

I'm Very dissapointed the (current time) Hip Hop selection sucks. Only the old songs are good. I dont listen too much else hope they patch in custom soundtracks

It definitely needs a hard rock or heavy metal station. Nothing would be sweeter than going full speed down a busy street cranking Metallica mowing down peds.

Haha, oh man. My bad! I just saw 'Jungle' and my mind jumped to that. I didn't even see the 'Welcome to the' in front of it

I'm sure on the older GTA there was a Jungle/Drum and Bass station. Can't remember the name.

It doesn't have any of my favourite bands/genres, but I kinda like the choices they've made.
Today I had a cool moment. I had just complited a heist, and was driving back to my safehouse (Michael). It was night time and the radio played a song by Phil Collins. That song was perfect for that moment, and I'm not a fan of Phil Collins.

It's not bad for me. I like it from what I've heard and what was leaked, which made it into the game. It's got that West Coast feel to it. Reminds me a bit of True Crime Streets of LA.

I usually keep the radio stations off unless I do some kind of heist and want to hear about it on the radio. I like listening to the sounds of the city while I'm driving around.
