    To take advantage of one of those I would need a new system, my current one would probably bottle kneck it. But the lesser 9850 or 9770 might be OK.

    Ho come AMD graphics can trade blows with Nvidia so well, but their CPU are so poor?

    I was going to wait until around spring for the Nvidia Maxwell GPU (either the 870GTX or 880GTX) but if nothing is said about them by mid-February I may go ahead with the R9 290X for my new build if the benchmarks/specs are real.
