GTA V No safehouses for sale.

Currently there is no way to buy safehouses / real estates in gta V. Even though there is an in-game website it says that it is under maintenance. So for now there is no way to buy safehouses. Some say purchasable safehouses and real estates will be exclusive to gta online while some others state that they will become available later on.

So what do you think guys? Personally I am extremely disappointed.

I was really hoping for purchasable safehouses offline. Especially once I started seeing so many homes foreclosed on or for sale. It's a bummer than there's only one home with a great view. I was got excited when one of the characters mentioned a beach house, I'd love to be able to chill on the balcony of one of the homes near the shrink's.

So after gathering some more information from sources like forums and reviews, the safehouses will only be available in GTA Online which launches on the 1st of October.

    Yeah it's kinda lame.
The problem IMO is that the other properties aren't really worth it 90% of the time.
You'd have to wait several ingame years to break even :/

For example the bar costs 80k and gives you 960dollars per week... Lol

The payouts are ridiculously small when compared to what you pay, playing the stock market will be more rewarding once I get the hang of it and have the patience to keep a close eye on things.

Its indeed very bad news dude as I am not really a multiplayer guy, especially in gta. Rockstar havent stated anything official other than that http://gtaforums.com/topic/594957-ca...n-sp-rockstar/

I really hope that we will also be able to buy real estates in story mode (offline).

They have to buff the income by 10x at least.
At 960$ per week it would take about 230hours to break even. That's laughable.

Even the very expensive properties aren't worth it.
The cinemas give you 150k per week... Sounds good at first glance but they cost 20million to buy.
That makes 133 weeks to break even... Or 370hours of playtime

    Please patch this rockstar!

You are just a big gta fanboy thats it. Its exactly like apple fanboys who dont admit apples products are shit even though they are. The earnings of the properties you buy for many millions are a joke and not being able to buy additional safehouses and real estates offline (story mode) is another joke. GTA V was for sure over-hyped and nowhere as good as stated by all those 10/10 reviews. The story was lame compared to all the other gtas and the story missions were designed for 12 years as they were extremely easy and not challenging at all. Even though the frame rate is slightly better than in IV its still shitty and the scrolling is awful. In my opinion the game is good but nowhere near a goty or anything else.

Actually, when you think about it, its not really a big deal. Its just a safe house, what can u even do in it? It wouldnt even add much to the game anyway, just a different place to watch tv or save your game or smoke pot or whatever.

This was me thinking from a different point of view, i still think this is bad news lol

Use many accessories like pot, telescope, tv etc.
Have very big garages which can store many vehicles.
Another place where to save the game and change your clothes.
A building to explore and notice all the details.

For me they are quite a big deal.

So in all honesty, i could and would go the entire game and not buy a single thing and still have no problem with it

Were i can come back when i have done everything in the game and decide whether i want to buy or not to buy

    So a 50/50 option

Yeah i agree with all those, hopefully the option to buy a house will be added. Maybe through a dlc? I dont buy dlcs but they could do it.

But wait, you can decorate your house now?

Honestly not that bothered, you only really used the safe house's in other GTA games to save, and you can do it on your phone in GTA 5. Yeah sure it cool to have loads of different property's around the place, but really not to much of an issue IMO. If you already have 6000000 to spend on a business then why are you bothered by how much it makes, its more important to me to get extra missions that you get for buying places. I got the airfield with Trevor and the missions are fun, I don't care about how much money it makes me!
