Yet another reference to Carcer City!

You know it's not a real GTA if someone in the game doesn't mention Carcer City. It was first mentioned on the radio in GTA III, (foreshadowing events in Manhunt) and every GTA III era game since, as well as GTA IV. More recently, in GTA V, Michael mentions "the outskirts of Carcer City" when discussing his first score.

One reason I really love the GTA series is because you feel like you're part of a larger world... but can we just revisit Carcer City in an actual GTA game already? I want to see what a new rendition of the city looks like.

Blacksite you are with me on this, they should have included it in GTA IV

Or will they make it a trip for you to do missions in via DLC's

I'm sure Capital City also gets mentioned throughout the series too.

I wonder what city Carcer City is supposed to represent, I'm going to take a guess at Detroit.

It's supposed to be a mix of a few terrible cities, most noteworthy are Flint and Detroit Michigan and Camden.

I'm not expecting to see it in the GTA universe, but maybe in a newer Manhunt.

It's within the same state as Liberty City but it's not Alderney. That was New Jersey. Carcer City would be closer to something like Detroit.

I only remember Capital City from the distance traveled statistic in GTA IV but I wouldn't mind seeing it either. Starting a rampage through Washington, D.C. is tempting.

I would love a rampage, other than the current cities of GTA universe for a change
