    Im gunna assume the second one is the 'new' version? if so, the triangles wont be missed much. A lot more detail in the shadows, skin, and background in that second shot.

    In the interest of fairness. It deserves to be said that the AA looks improved and the lighting is quite a bit more organic. Seems like an artistic decision over a technical one (Which, we should be able to agree, is the right choice for the dev to make.)

    Now that we have a clear art and gameplay direction for Ryse, we can finally get a good look at what the XBone can pull off. Crytek are geniuses with graphics and special effects. Win, lose or draw, it can't be said that MS showed up without a full clip to the fight. How big the gun is, we'll know soon enough.

    oh yea, GTA5 uses that excessively to get the details up. but it's a good thing in GTA5 because otherwise we can't achieve that draw distance and almost zero object pop-in.

    yea it's technically what the GPU can do but more importantly it's the inefficiency of the code that's maxing out the GPU.

    were this engine made just for next-gen or better yet, just for the X1, we would see differences in the 10 folds.

    Crytek hasn't done an amazing job on the consoles...in one way, yes, they have done a good job but at the same time, their games always look ugly and uninspiring, badly coded.

    EDIT: before someone gets their panty in the bunch, i'm not speaking about Ryse. i'm just saying that Ryse doesn't represent the X1 hardware.
