Things that are Disappointing with GTA V

Things that I'm disappointed at so far with GTA V:

    - No first person mode while on foot (only cars and stuff)
    - Only 5 wanted stars instead of 6...wtf? I wanted more not less!
    - No blood footprints after walking across a dead ped with blood (why?)
    - Health is too low
    - Can't lay down/crouch better
    - Lack of interiors
    - Trevor isn't able to fart with a button press
    - Can't watch yourself tumble in rag doll fashion down anything without the screen leaving (when you die)
    - Police are the toughest ever with many glitches and unfair advantages to their side
    - No windshield wipers that go on during rain
    - Vehicle damage
    - No NOS
    - Can't enter an Ammu-nation with a weapon in hand without doing the glitch (no fun!)

    and

No Police Vigilante, Paramedic, or Firetruck mode...major WTF!?!? The best mini-game is not here? $#@! that. Better be future DLC...Rockstar instead put Yoga into this game...okay. Then I heard something that almost made me go into a fit of rage...no flamethrower!!!!! WTF?!?!? Screw you $#@!star! I was looking forward to these staples of the series! $#@! off! I don't care if the frame-rate drops below 6 when everything is on fire, that slideshow would be one glorious scene...

In a nutshell, even though the game blows my mind every 5 minutes during play, there are some troubling aspects to what is not in the game despite the amount of things in there now. The good news is there is this little thing called DLC and its possible patches and other add-ons could fix or bring stuff that is desired by the GTA community.

I think the health is fine, especially since it regenerates to 50%. I also like the police. They can be a little aggressive at times and their speed is a little overdone, but overall I like them.

One of the biggest things I miss is car damage. They should have lessened the transformation from IV. How it is now I can hit an object at a certain angle and instead of that part of the vehicle being damaged it just has a little scrape.

I also hadn't noticed that side-missions for those vehicles weren't available. I loved the bounty hunter missions for Trevor and I hate they were so limited.

If the health is fine, then why is my character being re-spawned at the hospital every 2 minutes? I think that's what happens the most in this game is that scene. One aspect as to why the police system needs tweaking: Silent pistol in the middle of nowhere kills someone, police come. Bump into a cop and get 1 star, if you don't move your dead in 15 seconds. That isn't realistic.

One of the things I was looking forward to the most was Vigilante in the police vehicle, for this game it could have been insanely fun and epic. Its the #1 side activity I did in the other games. Its horrible it isn't here and I haven't gotten to the bounty missions yet, hopefully they tide me over. They're limited? More salt to the wound.

The driving and aiming is terrible. Cars slip-and-slide way too much, possessing barely any grip on the road. Shooting while aiming is really slow and sluggish, and sometimes it feels like there's input lag.

A lot of people complain about the driving, but I like it a lot. It still has a nice feel to it.

My only complaint is that I can't make any car my default car. All I want is the mother $#@!ing feltzer, but it so hard to find, that I don't want to use it because it might disappear.

Honestly, a majority of the time I'm going to the hospital is from being unloaded upon by gang members or cops, or from dying in an explosion. And I survive those gunfights a lot more than I die from them. I did die often early on, but since I've started using cover more it's a whole other story.

And the bounty missions... they're very limited.

Those are two other points I forgot about, the drive-by aiming...while good that its 360 unlike in PS2 era GTAs...sucks ass to put it lightly. Its the same as that cheat in SA where you can aim anywhere while driving but its impossible to control. Also the general aiming and speed of aim is horrible, FPS would suck bigtime if it was like that. Pressing R3 to look behind is delayed which isn't huge but strange.

The one thing I miss is being able to either tap triangle to exit my car but leave it running while leaving the radio on as well, or holding triangle for a second to fully shut off the car. I really miss that little option.

    lol what.
    - No blood footprints after walking across a dead ped with blood (why?)
you have to shoot them to do that. it's there.
    - Health is too low
yes but i love it this way.
    - Can't lay down/crouch better
this is one thing that i think would've really been useful. i would take this over flash light but flash light is still pretty awesome.
    - Lack of interiors
There are interiors, just not many but then again, there are WAY more things to do exterior than ever before...so i don't care, it's a fair compromise.
    - Trevor isn't able to fart with a button press

yea but you don't really need it because your windshield doesn't get rain on it.
    - Vehicle damage
What about it? it's there, and it's as good as ever. in fact, better this time. i like how your car doesn't catch on fire every 10 hits.
    - No NOS
don't care about NOS but i understand.
    - Can't enter an Ammu-nation with a weapon in hand without doing the glitch (no fun!)
they did that in every area you can enter.

my biggest and only main gripe is that there is no Metal themed radio station. SR3 and Sleeping Dogs did this SO SO right

Well I tend to agree with some of the complaints however here is my lift of disappointments.

    - Weak story and scripting, I just couldnt get the good gta story finishing feeling because all the missions were very easy and unremarkable.

    - Poor dialogues, a lot of repeating words like $#@!, $#@!in A, Holla at you etc. The conversations dont show much intelligence and most of the dialogues are about Michael arguing with Trevor.

    - The characters dont tent to be significant or remarkable in a special way like for example, Tommy Vercetti, CJ, Claud, Catalina, Candy Suxx, Niko Bellic, Gay Tony, Diaz etc. All those characters felt very strong and had many value in sense of power. Its not the case with the characters in GTA V.

    - Properties completely suck. First of all the missions that are provided by them are just so to say time wasters as they are very easy, repetitive, unrewarding and no fun. Whats cool about driving a van to a certain location in a limited amount of time or just kill a thief in a car and retrieve the money.

    - The absence of Heists after story completion is a big disappointment.

    - Once again no reliable source of a good income. Stocks dont change significantly after completing all the Lester missions and Properties are overpriced compared to what they give back each week. Robbing shops and gas stations is a waste of time as the money isnt even worth the act. Gruppe 6 cars are easy to rob and give a very small amount of money as well.

    - Not being able to buy additional safehouse real estates is by far the biggest disappointment.

    - Why is there no Garage property, it was in almost every GTA and was a great property, searching and retrieving the vehicles listed was very fun and rewarding in my opinion. Also after retrieving vehicles more special and unique vehicles would appear in the owned garage. Its absence is also a disappointment and I dont understand why it wasnt present in GTA V.

-Activities are lame and unnecessary, if I wanted to play yoga or tennis I would do so in another more focused games. They also dont affect the exterior appearance of a character which is another big disappointment.

    - Some other issues which occur due to hardware limitations but I cant complain about that as the hardware was very limited and old.

    - + some other things already mentioned by other users.

You can still do so. Hold triangle when exiting the car to keep it running, press triangle to turn off the engine and leave.

I wouldnt say so. You can buy a lot of things with it compared to many previous gta games. Properties, cars, aircrafts, helicopters, clothes, barber, tattoo parlor etc.

Really enjoy the driving myself, but then again this is coming from someone who really didn't like IV at all.

Main gripe, (which I hope will be rectified online, or in DLC): THERE IS A CASINO THAT YOU CAN'T ENTER; FOR A GAME SO ENVELOPED IN HEISTS YOU'D THINK THAT WOULD BE PRIORITY NUMERO UNO. Plus all the games within. Endless fun!

Meh a Casino is not really something nice, it purely relates on luck and the code. I dont want these save game, load game money gathering crap.

Yeah but earning money in online will be even a faster process and easier as stated by Rockstar. What else do you want? Of course spending it on safehouses and real estates would be awesome and their absence is quite a big disappointment. But in general there are many things on which you can spend a lot of money.

I actually dont understand why people dont like it, especially those that cant get used to it, its so easy, feels more real, in gta iv, cars felt so light and toy like, now cars actually feel real.

Also, about the health, yeah our health is low, but it makes the game more fun and realistic. Someone said gta4 was more realistic when it came to health, but in gta iv it took 100 bullets to kill you, that isnt realistic at all. lol in fact its not realistic at the moment, one bullet should be enough to kill me

Actually in GTA V cars are a lot more light. In IV they were though, heavy and drove boat like. I like the handling of cars in V a lot more than how it was in IV.

Well i think that is were DLC comes in then, means they add more so you can spend in single player and online

No no im not talking about how theyre driven, i mean, they look heavy. And for example when you hit a car, it just stops, you cant keep pushing it, car crashes feel more real etc

Aha, well yes that is true however the difference between V and IV in this regard is not major in my opinion.

Pretty much . I just thought of that at the last minute. It could be used to gather some laughs.

YES! I was thinking that too. i hate that screen...it's too early as well. they should've just done away with it.
It appears due to recent finds we have a solution!

? they're easier than before in many ways.
Only to get away and sometimes that is difficult. In terms of force, its wildly hard.

yea but you don't really need it because your windshield doesn't get rain on it.
    Realism.

What about it? it's there, and it's as good as ever. in fact, better this time. i like how your car doesn't catch on fire every 10 hits.
I should clarify its amazing in many ways but when I want to crash into something, I want to see something more significant than just a minor dent when traveling that fast. Everything else is some of the best I've ever seen in a video game.

You can still do so. Hold triangle when exiting the car to keep it running, press triangle to turn off the engine and leave.
The 1st point is a issue for SP, 2nd one I've read people explain that there isn't a need for them in this game because of Quick Save. Is it about evading police? I agree with the 3rd point. And that last thing is that is the first I've heard you can do that in V, everyone else online is talking about missing that.

Someone said gta4 was more realistic when it came to health, but in gta iv it took 100 bullets to kill you, that isnt realistic at all. lol in fact its not realistic at the moment, one bullet should be enough to kill me
I don't think its more fun...to see my character re-spawn at a hospital every 2 minutes when I do something. If 1 bullet killed you, there would be no game...it would be a simulator of real life.
