    Playstation Home coming to PS4.

PS4 to get PlayStation Home according to leaked image

Break out your next-gen Running Man loafers: PlayStation Home could be coming to PS4. An image has recently cropped up on Reddit suggesting the virtual space will feature on Sony’s next-gen machine.
    PS4 PlayStation Home

Though it’s obviously poor quality, the shot does appear to be of PS4′s user interface (note the Knack icon). Home may be everyone’s favourite punching bag, but it has actually developed a thriving (well, busy… ish) community in the last few years, with many indie studios creating bespoke play areas.
Would you play Home if it came to PS4? Shout at us using your indoor voices in the comments.

I really liked Home, but it seemed to run pretty slow at times and even locked up my Playstation once. As a result, I didn't really use it as much as I would have liked. I bet the PS4 won't have any problems like that, though. So, you might see me in there, come Quad-Day.

This is good news and it's a money generator for sure. At least those that previously got HOME can still buy a new console and enjoy HOME. With the ease of development, I can see more content coming to home much faster compared to the PS3 which according to a lot of HOME users took months to come out.

The way you can function between tasks and the XMB now means this could run very well.

The idea behind Home was awesome. Just the execution seemed very poor.

I liked the idea of grouping up with your friends before launching into a game and how cool it would've been to show off your trophies but it didn't work the way I thought it would. Fingers crossed for better things this time around

That image is months and months old and its been seen as fake, even the person that made it come clean and said its fake. If Home was coming to PS4 why wouls SCEJ and SCEAsia be stopping the publishing of new content, Japan stopped last week and Asia will stop in March.

HOME for the PS3 won't link together. You won't be able to play your downloadable games from the PS3 to the PS4. Just because they stopped new content on the PS3 doesn't mean anything. In fact, it could mean they are working on possibly a PS4 version of it.

Its more than just new content thats stopping, they are also stopping parts of there website thats linked to Home. I have also watched over the last year the size of the team greatly drop in size with many having to find new jobs in other companys. Sales have also greatly dropped in the last 6 months with many 3rd partlys not willing to do anymore big projects.

Home is not the big money maker people seem to think it is, it used to be but not now.

I used Home once or twice but I didn't really see the point. Just felt like second life. I could be doing something else that is much more fun. However am I glad it's coming over? Absolutely. PlayStation Home has an audience and I'm glad that audience will be catered too.

I didn't like it as well.
I always wanted it to be like what GTA is starting to do now.
Have an open world where all games exist within it.
If you want to play CoD, then go enlist in the army and a story will progress from there where you'll have the choice to go one way which is a single player experience and another which is like CoD MP.
Any game that you would like to play in any genre, all you have to do is go to where it would logically be in the world and do it.
$#@! I would buy a dedicated console that does nothing but this game, it has no disc drive and updates and expands via the Internet and would grow over time. After years and years you would have the whole world mapped into this game where you could visit anywhere and do anything. Of course it would be scaled down a lot, but still feel unbelievably big. $#@! then after that expand into space and have Star Trek or Wars like adventures. It would be the ultimate game, that is all games. I feel that someday this will be videos games and it's what PS Home as always made me think of.

Just total curiosity, how many people on here actively use PS Home? I might get on it once a year myself...

I get on it once a console generation

Seriously, I got on it once when Home was release (actually a couple weeks after because of all the technical glitches and the mad rush to beat down the doors to see what Home actually brought you.) And I was totally non-enthused. It just felt like being a kid trying to act in a grown up environment built for kids.

I'm sure the curiosity will get me again and I'll launch Home once on the PS4 and then never use it again. I'm guessing my son will use it a good bit (he's not aware of it on the PS3 as I've never shown it to him.) He likes building environments and styling them to his tastes and all (Mindcrap... err.. Minecraft, LBP2, LBP Karting, ...) so he may take to this, he's 11 going on 18 after all.

Not surprised, makes too much money for them to ditch it.

The PS3 HOME had a good fanbase to it. The problem I had with HOME was that it was super slow. It was slow to load up and eveything about it was slow. joining a game with friends through HOME was awful.

I pretty much stopped using it when they updated to the new spaces, the original home square and mall etc. were perfectly fine, I'd jump on, play some pool and/or bowling for like 10 minutes and it'd be fun. Now it's just $#@! with all the pay to play games.

Good for those using HOME. I don't myself, but there are surprisingly a lot of people that do .
