Do you buy cartridge or download?

I've bought the majority of my games on cart. A couple smaller games, and the PS+ games come from d/l.

I buy cartridges and download, but I prefer purchasing cartridges.

Currently Playing: Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag (PS4) and Bravely Default (3DS)

I prefer cartridges, but can switch to download. What my OCD makes it more difficult is this scenario of mxing the two. I cannot fathom how I can mix the two methods that in my mind it makes sense. What should be downloaded and what should be carts? What's the criteria? Silly question to some but a tough one for me.

I prefer cartridges but I will download titles if they are cheaper or free, or I can't wait for delivery and stuff.

I tend to download more games on handhelds instead of consoles though

Stopped buying games. More than enough to play with what I've already purchased on Vita/PSP games and PS+. Nothing terribly exciting out since Persona 4 Golden.

Prefer the cartridge, but only because the memory is still stupidly expensive.

If memory and its pricing still wasn't such an issue, I would love to have a Vita with nothing but downloaded games on it. Sadly, with the limitations still on us and the entry-point for getting even a pittance of what we'd like, I've been forced to buy the physical copies of some games. If a game is around 1.5 gigs or below, then I have no issue downloading it. Beyond that, it's a physical copy.

I own Sly Cooper and Mercenary's physical copies, though I would have preferred them downloaded--but with each one passing 3 gigs in memory, I can't justify allowing them to take up that much space.

I'd like to buy the digital copy of LBP, but it's still full price while the ones I come across in stores is only 20 dollars.

If Tearaway is less than 2gigs I'll download it. If it's more, I'll buy the physical copy.

And so on, and so on.

I will always prefer cartridge because if anything were to happen to PSN I'd be screwed. Sure if I never delete the games I'm fine but lets say my Vita/PS3/PS4 broke and is in a state where it can't be fixed at all, then I'm out of the money I spent years ago on games that might even be rare in the future. This is most likely a more of a collector's stand point of view but still I mean alot of the games don't have a price difference still so I rather spend my money on something I could resell or have always available ready to work. I'll typically buy cheap games like PSN Games or PS1 games for my vita but that's the only digital buying I do.

I have 2 carts only because they were free and cheap...

I download everything it's faster and easier just not necessarily always cheaper than in store.

For some reason I never feel like I truly 'own' a game if i just download it. I have no attachment to my steam or PSN collection. But my 500+ games on my shelves I care about

Both. Big titles like KZ mercenary I'll buy the cartridge. But for games like Stealth Inc SSHD Delta, I don't mind it taking up card space.

For me, I like to download. I just like it so I don't have to swap or carry anything else for my Vita. Just download and play.
