I wonder when a nuclear warhead goes off, does the frame rate of real life drop?

Mammoth difference, even though I'm not that enamoured by the game itself. But the next-gen version does make you reconsider a little, from the videos it just looks far more involving and fluid.

From the looks of it the actual models are very close in detail (maybe even the same). Its the skin & cloth shaders, the lighting and the textures thats a huge leap

They should have done comparisons in day scenes. I hate games where I can't see anything. I always crank up the brightness when I play games like this.

Clearly, the next gen version only has better looking models because the game takes place in a near pitch black environment with next to no detail, with only some random lights strewn around.

Like I said, the models are actually probably the same judging by the first shot comparison. Its the other stuff (shaders, textures, simulation and lighting) that make the upgrade.

Furthermore, these images are compressed and low res

I would like to remind everyone that this is not a next gen exclusive.

So that could affect how advanced it looks.

I dont think people should judge this until they see some populated outside shot's

l mean there is a difference but you really will notice once the outside shots are compared

It obviously looks miles better on a technical level, but at least with the current-gen versions you can actually see the environment. Seriously, someone get some spotlights out there.

It doesn't look like they put any effort into making the PS3 version look even half decent.

Focus. Control. Conviction. Resolve. A true ace lacks none of these attributes. Nothing can deter you from the task at hand except your own fears. This is your sky.
