    why do gifs always look better than the video? is it just a frame rate thing? either way, game looks gorgeous.

    The smaller resolution helps compress and hide anything that may not look very good. Things look smoother and sharper, and the lower framerate pulls your attention (giving time to take in detail) more than a smoother video.

    In a way it does. Combat in Ryse is slower and more realistic.
