Only because just like with the Sports games such as FIFA 14 they using current-gen specs probably next year they begin using next-gen.

The PS4 gameplay that I've seen does look impressive.

that makes no sense. PC is able to handle much more than the PS4. the problem here likely is that they just did not bother with the PC version and it was likely easier for them to do it on the PS4 as they don't have to think about which sort of specs to focus on as minimum and max. all of the resources are ready to use on the PS4.

i think what you mean to say is, yes these games aren't taxing much on next-gen consoles yet so it's easy for them to achieve whatever they want. coming years, PC games will start to look noticeably better and we will see performance issues with the consoles or less objects, resolution, texture detail/resolution.

But it does because that's what they did.

Also look at nba 2k14 on the pc, its the same thing as current Gen compared to the ps4 gameplay that was shown

Its all about the code base and target spec PC. If the PC version is 32 bit its likely pulled from the 360/ps3 version and aimed at a much lower minimum spec PC.
Contrast that with something like AC4 where PC is getting exclusive graphical features.

yeah, there are times they will just find more resources available on the consoles, especially PS4.

but this will probably stop happening moving forward. we will only be able to get highest setting PC graphics on exclusives that actually push the hardware.

Well yes and no, but I am out of it right now, but basically the PC games I think aren't going to start using the next-gen software until next year at least the Sports games from what I hear.

I've heard this from a lot of people that games on PC that come out when a new console comes out it takes them awhile to catch up to the console counterparts.

Heck had FIFA 12 like 2 years ago, and some people had said EA finally caught up with PS3/360 counterparts more or less.

Maths is biased! It keeps telling me the PS4 is 50% more powerful than XboxOne!

I can't say I'm suprised. I don't think NFS really sells well on PC.

    Either way....good for PS4!!

    Just to remind everyone:

“What we’re seeing with the consoles are actually that they are a little bit more powerful than we thought for a really long time – especially one of them, but I’m not going to tell you which one," Nilsson told VideoGamer.com at Gamescom earlier today.

“I think that both consoles will look pretty much on parity,” he replied, “but one of them might stick up a little bit.”

this is where the argument i was trying to make. PC development is limited by its target user base.

they can clearly take advantage of the PC hardware but they choose not to.

though i wouldn't be surprised if the PC version performed better.

i am starting to think that PS4 versions (over X1) will be considerably better-looking or we would hear about console versions in general. we don't.

Guess I was like I said "out of it right now very busy", but whatever you said it doesn't matter maybe another day. Just too tired right now.

I think more people would buy it for the PS4 regardless, seeing as a racing game would be easier to play with a controller than a mouse and keyboard.
Thanks to Sylar for the signature!
