    It really is just moving mip mapping from the memory into the hard drive. I don't think with these consoles we are going to run out of memory anytime soon.

    Especially if they start to offload more assets to take advantage of these features. Game sizes might explode a bit. think we'll see a fair amount pushing the 50GB mark in the not too distant future.
