Back from the store, bought a Dualshock4 and Camera

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

    This camera is surprisingly tiny.

When holding the controller, does your trigger fingers sit naturally on the L1 and R1 or L2 and R2 buttons?

At work right now, picked it up on my break. Will see if I can get some pictures together when I get home.

I echo the request for lovely snaps!

    Two questions:

    - What's the weight like compared to the DS3?
    - How do the analogue sticks/triggers feel compared to the DS3?

So they're selling accessories but not the console? Weird.

(I'm not doubting you - I just find that concept odd )

It is a slightly weird concept, alright. The DS4 even works with the PlayStation 3.

Demand is through the roof, PS4 is going to be the best selling console of all time at this rate.

Can the cord unplug from the camera or is it permanently attached? If it can, what kind of port is on the camera, is it custom as well?

the cord appears to be perma attached.

The camera is way smaller then I thought it would be. Rough estimate of dimensions. 1"x 1" x 7"
    Comes with a stand.

Damn, that is pretty small! If/when you post pictures of them, put them beside a few things we can relate to (can of soda, tv remote, etc.) so we can get an idea of the actual size!

How heavy is it? Does it feel "hollow" or more "solid"?

Both products are well built, feel solid. The DS4 has a good weighty feel to it.

The store rep said a few things to me when I asked that question.
    1. Sony is sending out this supply to help people on fixed budgets. Buy a little now and a little later. (whether that is his opinion or sonys, I have no idea)
    2. He said that was the only stock of accessories they would be expecting from now till spring. (so I jumped on it immediately)

Do you wish you had waited until getting the console too, to keep the suspense?

Anyway to set it in Forever Vibrate mode?

Also, has anyone in the US snagged some and which retailer? My knee is still getting better from that sprain and I can only walk so long!

This was probably a smart thing to do, especially if you think you might need another controller and want to use the camera. Peripherals seem kind of secondary in the beginning and they seem to be plentiful right after launch, but just when you want to go get one, they are all gone and it takes a long time to get back in stock. Amazon says they aren't available until after Nov. 15.

I always get a 2nd controller with a new console. I'm still using the same 2 DS3s from when I bought my ps3 day 1. I let one charge as I drain the other. Then swap as I need. Helps prolong the batteries.

As for the camera, I was on the fence. So I figured what the hell...

More pics guys, to get a rough idea as to the size of the accessories.
