I guess I was right mistercrow, devs are in fact having issue with the software/OS of the XBONE. But what about the ESRAM?

Doesn't provide any actual information other than "dev having issues"... wow. When doesn't a dev have issues with a new OS/product. smh.
Does the invisible devs outweigh the games we've seen that look pretty bad ass? Which devs, what issues are they having, etc.?

Just a few weeks away till we know. I guess all these devs just won't be releasing games at launch, and the Xbox One will be a system at launch without any games because the devs are having too many issues to release them.

It is a new OS that these devs are developing for. So, yeah, it's definitely something new for them. The console OS's are always under development. The PS3, Xbox 360, etc. still constantly under development.

If they aren't saying that, then they've been paid to promote the games. And they will be selling games that don't actually work on our new, crashing OS, Xbox One.

Nothing is perfect. Once they get used to it, and more familiar, I think we'll "hear" less complaints. Really though, which devs are complaining? When were they complaining, and what are they complaining about?

im working at radio and software that we use on 99% run correctly only on xp, they not very stable at win7 and not work at all at win8. their main complain is that win8 become more closed system for developers and they need to rewrite ALL their code, remade interface, write new drivers, etc.

Completely different than the environment they are developing new games on a new system. I can perfectly understand having to port over the 360 games to the Xbox One, and having some difficulties with the difference in the environment. That goes all around though.

Not really. No details being given. I'm sure the PS4 OS is still being tweeked as well and will have its own issues. So no, we still dont know for sure what the resolution disaparity is about. Like I said to you in that other thread time will tell. The ESRAM most likely has something to do with that imo.

A lot of people are forgetting that MS announced quite awhile back of making Windows 8 central and common across PC's, tablets, phones and the XBone.

The XBone has 3 operating systems: the game OS, a Windows 8 kernel and the hypervisor running them both as virtual machines. This is horrendously complicated, in the way Rube Goldberg machines are complicated. That is, they take a very roundabout way to perform their functions. There has been all this news about being able to release resource areas so that devs have access to more memory space but they fail to mention, then it is the dev that has to manage resources so if Kinect applications need to start up or the TV media functions need resources, then those will have to be dynamically allocated. It sounds like a coders nightmare. In addition, it sounds like the DX12 MS is trying to shoe-horn in is not fully developed, hence incomplete tools.

The problem with the Windows 8 Metro interface is that it tries to be one-size-fits-all, but ends up fitting nobody very well. It is best for a touch screen phone size interface but it is almost unusable with a PC, and many tablet manufacturers have complained bitterly that its unsuitable for tablets. Now, Asus has gone ahead and is trying to fix their problem with Windows 8 tablet sales, poor, with Android tablet sales, good. They are putting both on a tablet so it is a dual OS tablet. Naturally, this has priced the tablet beyond ridiculous levels but it indicates how much the entire electronics industry is bending over backwards to try to make Windows 8 a success. It isn't happening.

Windows 8 Is a Failure: This Radical New Device Proves It
    November 3, 2013

Windows 8 is supposed to give its users the best of both worlds: a laptop PC environment when they need it, and a tablet environment when they don't. Unfortunately, when it comes to offering a tablet experience, Microsoft's operating system comes up short -- Windows 8 suffers from a serious lack of mobile apps.

Asus has a solution: the Transformer Book Trio. Using both Microsoft's Windows 8 and Google's Android, Asus is able to offer the hybrid experience Microsoft was after. With such a hefty price tag -- 900 pounds, or about $1,440 -- it's unlikely to sell well. Apple investors need not worry. Still, its very existence is evidence of Microsoft's ineptitude.

Asus' new computer is unlike anything you've ever seen
The Transformer Book Trio is a radical device. In fact, it might be better to think of it as two devices. Consumers who purchase one will literally get two separate PCs, complete with separate processors, memory, hard drives, and, most notably, operating systems.

Honestly, don't think that's the case with the Xbox One though.
