So the current gen of NBA 2k14 received a 9.3 while the next-gen received 8.9, what the hell?

I read the PS4 review, not the PS3 review. And what stood out was this:

    The Verdict

If you skipped current-gen this year, it’s a no-brainer: yes, yes, yes, yes. Next-gen NBA 2K14’s ambitious new modes each leave a bit to be desired, and for better and for worse, it plays almost identically to the game you may already own. But this edition is not only a smooth-flowing piece of pro basketball simulation, it’s also one of the few games that makes a true next-generation leap in visual fidelity. And when you’re dropping $400-$500 on a fresh piece of hardware, there’s something to be said for that.
Not really a huge difference, just that the PS4 has the obvious graphical visuals and quality. So yeah, lol...

Reminded me of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD collection. While they gave the original game a higher rating, the combine collection is was a bit worse. It's like wtf are they doing.

If you want to play a good ca aign, Why don't you play a game that promices you that ?! There are plenty o games that focuses on the Single player experience rather than the online, Bioshock, Dishonored, The last of us comes to mind.
