    $10 psn voucher...not redeeming?

Anyone else having this issue? I was going to use it to pay for part of Trine 2 today, but I can't seem to redeem the code.

nothing....lol nothing at all. I tried twice so far.

First time, screen just went blue with a back button after I entered the code....nothing
Second time, screen actually looked like it accepted it (though it didn't actually say it did). But when I went to the store, I showed no funds.

Hmm... let me try and see what it does for me. Is it in the box or something? I don't remember getting a voucher.

    edit: found it.

edit#2: Worked fine for me. Added the $10 into my wallet.

Try redeeming the code by itself, which can then be added to your wallet to buy whatever you want.

I had to enter it twice last night in order for it to take, but it did work and I used it to alleviate the yearly cost of PS+

Also the 30 day PS+ trial worked for me even though I had been PS+ before, so I now have a year and 30 days. I might even try all the PS+ 7-day trials I got with my games to see if each one extends the date even further.

blarg, I'll try again later. My attempt might have been during a psn store issue.

I had a similar issue with redeeming my 30 day PS+ trial. Accepted the code, I confirmed and it just sat there in wait state for like half an hour until I powered off -- front panel switch -- and restarted the console. It worked the second time. I figure it was a PSN store issue, too.

Quick question: I'm redeeming my 7 days PS+ card. I'm forced to put my credit card information? That's BS. Why do I need to do this...

That's the norm for time limited offers like that. So, if you don't cancel it within the time period, they will just renew your subscription. I don't like it either. I would rather it just expire, and notify you that your sub has run out. That would be more consumer friendly than the auto renew crap.

Yeah they updated the ps+ terms of service a while back, unless you notify them you want to cancel your subscription they automatically use your card details to take a payment. A lot of firms here are trying to get you to use this method or payment instead of the direct debit method because you have less control and less rights..

I heard that if you buy the cards though, you won't get asked, right? Speaking about that, people have been reporting error while redeeming their one year membership card.

By the way, my $10 PSN redeemable code worked. It should go through.
