There is a puzzle sequence at a mayan ruin area that was a total throwback to Uncharted for me. Even said so on my stream.

    Come find me on Twitch.tv!

Yeah, not sure if there are any more than that one. I'm 1/2 through the storyline and that's the only one I've come across.

There are 22 Buried Treasures for which you'll find maps, that give the general location (in coordinate form) and then you got to locate the actual location of the buried treasure based on comparing the map to the land, some are easier than others.

But for the most part the regular treasure chests and other items will get mapped on screen based when you 'Sync' the area's w/ the Tower/Sync locations.

It's completely open world that doesn't funnel you from location to location like Uncharted does, so you want have the 'look in ever corner for a twinkle' type of treasure hunt.

The good thing is the game has a very wide variety of events and activities to do, so if you get bored of doing certain things, you just go do other things.

Yeah, Metal is the big one. I've only got Mortar's at the 2 out of 4 lvls. I've still taken Forts w/ up to 9 towers w/ this and my broadsides (only at 13 broadside cannons.) I'd say the Broadside Cannons are even more metal (and more valuable) and is what I'm going to focus on next.

I Desync'd for the first time on a boarding tonight - The ****er had 130 Metal too. Apparently if you Desync during a boarding the ship is simply gone

I prioritized the Hull which is one below max (requires the Elite Plans) Next is Broadsides.

BTW, I've taken down two Man 'O War's with it at this level.

Thanks Taz427 for the tip on tailing those guys, totally worked.

Another thing I just found out (new to AC IV) is if you do the L3 and lock on to who you're trailing. You can see them through buildings. Making it easier to tail in difficult areas (such as enemy territory.)

HA! I've been playing quite a while and never realized I could do this. Thanks so much, this will definitely make a difference in certain situations.
