I plan to keep it, alongside other platforms. Especially with such great games as Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and GTA V.

Keeping both of my PS3s. You can never have enough Blu-Ray players when the bitties want to watch a movie. You can go from the basement, to the living room to bedroom.*

*If at the unmasking hour the only thing that comes off is the mask, you've done something wrong. lol

Well my PS3 crashed on me a while ago so I've missed out on a few games PS4 can wait, I'm more eager to get my hands on a new PS3 and play GTAV and TLOU.

Once I finish up R&C Into the Nexus, I will likely let my PS3 rest unless I have an overwhelming urge to play an old game. But more than likely, I won't be doing much with it from here on out.

Dark Souls 2 is one of the few "current-gen" games I must have. Thankfully it's going to be released on the PC. There were also talks of a next-gen port? Here's hoping.

Scratch my last comment, looks like my PS3 is still my main DVD/Blu-ray playing device (and I watch a LOT of movies), as there doesn't seem to be any way to connect my Sony/PS3 bluetooth remote control to the PS4. No way in heck am I going back to using a controller for movies.

Hmm, the more I use the PS4 for my daily activities, the more I realize how limited it is in comparison to the PS3. Pretty much ATM, it is only useful for PS4 games. A bit of a letdown, but at least they put some decent focus on the gaming aspect, which is the most important for a game console. Perhaps months, or years, down the road it will be as universally useful as the PS3 (music, movies, pictures etc).

PS4 seems like it probably should have waited a year to come out, but I'm sure Sony didn't want to repeat last gens mistake so they shot out of the gates first with a bit of basic functionality loss that we take for granted on the PS3.

Hmm, it's a tough call really. I have a mass of games still not played (mostly PS+ titles) so would like to think I'd keep it and work through at least a couple of them. In reality, as soon as KZ, BF4, AC IV CoD and NFS hit my PS4... I can see no going back
It makes sense to sell it now while it's still worth something but I've grown quite attached to the PS3. I may take it out my games corner and set it up in the bedroom and use it for streaming my PC content rather than copying stuff to USB sticks and using the playback through my tele. I can't see it being used for games much more though. I'm still ashamed I haven't even played the TLOU even though I've had it since release.

I'm keeping mine, but it will be moving upstairs to the black hole of the house that is my daughters bedroom once they add DNLA support to the ps4. My boy will still have his 320GB slim in his bedroom as well which I will borrow if anything interesting comes up on ps+..

With that said, I am trading my PS3 in tomorrow.
I have donated my ps3 to a friend who just had a kid so I know he's gonna be hurting for cash. so it's goodbye to my ole ps3, gone but never forgotten

No option for "already sold it"
Anyways, If I still had it I would definitely play it.
The gap from last to current gen is not very big yet, IMO.

I have to keep mine, way too many games and even if I had just a couple of games for it, those games are Kingdom Hearts collection 1 and soon to be 2 and I'll be damned if I can't play them.

Going back and playing MGS4 and other early titles that have faded into memory. It'll take a while so PS3 and PS4 (when i get one) for a lot of the foreseeable future.
