    As they should.
They can upgrade and change pieces of it if needed.

One of the biggest limitations on Ps3 was the amount of main ram. (256GB)
Now they can use a low more for the important parts of game. (physics, AI.. sound.)

Graphics side has nice start for next gen already.
They already use quads at least for cars and it should be easy to convert the part to ps4. (either compute shaders and/or tesselation/domain shaders.)

I waited so long for 3-4-5 that I honestly don't mind that Polyphony's churning them out.

I really hope they maximize the capabilities of the PS4 for GT8, I don't think it will happen for 7 especially if they want to try and get it out next year, you never know thought they may surprise us!

i hope that Ricciardo can at least take the fight to him if he does dominate again....but that's like asking for the next hottest pepper to swallow .....i just wanna see some racing at the front!

well, GT5 only had graphical problems. The physics of GT (imo) is second to none, and that is all CPU. With the PS4 having a significant GPU maybe we'll get every car in game using high quality assets. Maybe even GPU damage modelling (that would be some form of tessellation?).

4GB of RAM for a racer is insane. GT5 only made do with ~256MB for example.

GT's Achilles heel has always been AI, i've seen the Drivatars on Forza and they'er pretty good. hopefully GT can put all those leaderboard ghosts to use and craft something similar?
