PS4's Voice Control - Anyone Use It?

Was wondering how many people are using the voice commands?
    They actually work surprisingly well
You don't even have to say "playstation"
you can alternatively just press "L2" to bring up the voice command prompt, which IMO is much better.
My main problem with Voice Commands, is saying the name of the device, pressing L2 and saying the name of a game is actually practical.
Works great for in game screenshots, of course you have to say "playstation" while in game, the L2 command is for the PDM only of course.
So what do you guys think of the voice controls?
Is it useful to you or do you think it's only there because XBO can do it?

It's not about being lazy IMO, it's about getting to where you want to to go in the fastest time possible.
If your in you messages and want to start a game and dont want to hit back a couple times and then scroll over to the game to start it,
you can just say the name of the game and it sends you right to it.
So it has it's practical uses, but I totally see why it turns people off. It's weird talking to your TV, that's why I like being able to press L2 to bring up the voice command prompt, one less word to say.

its a cool feature. the only time i really use it is to turn it off or put it in standby mode.
i didn't know about the L2 thing, so thanks for that!

I think in the feature there will be alot more you can do with it.

I'll probably use it for a while until the novelty wears off, then totally forget about it the same as I have done with every phone I've ever had with voice functions..

I use it quite frequently. I don't have the camera, but I keep my headset plugged in my DS4 and activate the voice commands that way.

I've been using it a bit and am trying to get in the habit of using it a bit more. I was surprised how well it works. I do have the camera and the facial recognition seems surprisingly good as well. The PS4 turns on, recognizes that I'm sitting there and usually logs me in by the time I'm settled on my couch and getting to the point where I would manually log in using the controller...at least most of the time. I've had to repeat myself for the voice commands a couple of times, but definitely very usable.

Like someone else mentioned, I'm not using it all the time, but sometimes it IS quicker to use a voice command than to back out of some other area like notifications, to run a game. All in all a good, cool and useful feature. I'll never operate the console solely with voice or even with voice and gestures, but having some capabilities in that area and having them actually work and be useful is a definite plus in my opinion. Good job, Sony! From what I'm reading on Kotaku and elsewhere, the PS4 voice controls, although more limited, may be more reliable than the Kinect. Go figure.

All you have to decide is what to do with the time give to you....

I've started a few days ago using mic. It's pretty decent I do wish for more commands and the ability to use the mic built into the DS4 to activate voice. Also I do find it difficult to activate during games.
